@GreenDay1981 Considering that we beat the Florida Gators at the Capitol One Bowl that year, with a healthy team, whom we were supposed to lose by 18 points to; I'd say we ended it pretty good! But let's not talk about the past, let's focus on the present! Michigan is looking pretty good, oh they may lose a couple but they seem to be on the upswing! OSU, on the other hand, seems to be spiraling downward. Miller is a work in progress at best, and Bauserman is definitely not a leader!

I've been a college football fan my whole life and while I'm not an Ohio State fan (look at my YouTube name for God's sake!), I always viewed them as a great representative of the Big Ten and perceived Jim Tressel as a true professional. Also, this goes to show how classy Jim Tressel is. He asked to be suspended 5 games as well because he wanted to share the adversity with those players. How many coaches would do that for their team? But let's not talk about the past, let's focus on the present! Michigan is looking pretty good, oh they may lose a couple but they seem to be on the upswing! OSU, on the other hand, seems to be spiraling downward. Miller is a work in progress at best, and Bauserman is definitely not a leader!

@GreenDay1981 I'm waiting until Michigan will get its first loss. I think being rated No.12 is way to high too early. I think maybe they'll get past Northwestern, but I'm not sure about MSU. As you probably know, MSU has a pretty good defense, but practically no offense. And this game will be played in East Lansing, a pretty tough venue. That offensive scheme where Gardner is QB and Robinson and others are RB's will probably drive defensive coaches mad. Stuff like this will help Michigan....

Well unfortunately, time has proved that assessment wrong. Jim Tressel is just a typical coach in this out-of-control world of modern sports in that in the end, he's willing to compromise his integrity if that's what it takes to get wins.

@wolvhater - Our last win in a bowl game was was played with Tim Tebow and his Florida Gators. The same year we lost to Appalachian State. They were a good SEC team that year. Tebow was the Heisman Trophy winner. Michigan was like an 18 point underdog, and beat the shit out of them. If Hart had not fumbled the ball twice in their end zone, it would have been a blow out! When was OSU's last win against Florida? Maybe never?

Since 1950, Michigan is 27-32-2 against OSU. Which is a more consistent record with today's football considering Fielding Yost won most of his games when the forward pass wasn't a part of the game and neither were face masks. scUM fan's incessant touting of the past is irrelevant at best and leans more towards childish, which the same can be said of their current program.

@wolvhater - Like i said it will take YEARS to come even with Michigan. Just because Pryor stated he would stay at OSU, doesn't mean he will! Money has a way of changing people's minds. Here's a little food for thought, Tressel was rumored to be leaving OSU - maybe going to Michigan? Wouldn't that be fun? Highly unlikely, but still possible!

@wolvhater - Yea, well your win last night is the FIRST against the SEC of about 17 tries. Pryor and the others will probably go to the NFL rather than endure those 5 game suspensions! Overall we must have had BETTER players at Michigan than you because it's going to take a while for you to even come even with us. Like years and years!!
