1. I uploaded this video in 2006 and back then it was free to download off their website. The ones you have to buy look completely different to this so I'm guessing this was a beta

@777prayser I think this is only a beta and is the only one. There only exist 2 penumbra games, episode 1 (penumbra overture) and episode 2 (penumbra black plague). There exist a third (penumbra a requiem), but its an expansion of the episode 2 (black plague). I hope i could help you ^^ .

@MattDragoran Hmmm... the only way to fix it is to get a new PC, My PC sucks and it can play it! My PC specs:

HP 5850 AMD Sempron(tm) Processor LE-1300 2.29 GHz, 1.75 GB of RAM... See its not the best but it can run any game (that isnt Next-Gen like GTA Or whatever) on high settings.

@Snyzeru Resident Evil 5 was made by a big team, Penumbra is made by 5 dudes from sweden, you can't compare both anyway, RE5 is a crappy actiongame which is lacking horror and is full of stupid, stereotype zombies, while Penumbra is subtile horror without these typical crappy creatures you call "frightening".

Play the Penumbra Series before you judge it, and don't compare every small game to games made by professional, huge teams...

This is a beta version of Penumbra Overture. The "true" Penumbra Ovetrue (1st one) is much much longer then this version!

Okay for everyone saying this isn't free, yes it is. This is the original Penumbra not Overture or Black Plague. This one was used as a trial for the gameplay itself (IE actually having to move doors with the mouse and the general atmosphere of a first person survival horror).
