You're confused with a total lunar eclipse being on the December 21, that will take until 2094 (but you can ask yourself why that a lunar eclipse on December 21 would be that special, it is a rather arbitrary day).

@TheDoglover777 If that were true, his second coming would be near about once a year on average, since there is the possibility of lunar eclipse twice a year and about half of those is a total lunar eclipse. For a total lunar eclipse the Moon will almost always become red, because of the sunlight passing through (and diffracted by) the Earth atmosphere (similar to the setting Sun turning red).

even more amazing is how the moon fits the size of the sun during an eclipse, the distnce of the moon from the earth and the sun are co-insidentialy perfect. the moon is the right size and distance from the sun. When we look at the shadow of the earth over the moon, were able to see the true color of the moon after millions of years of solar radiation.

@Eilizsia Where did you get that nonsense? The shadow of the Earth is about 2.5x the size of the Moon: it doesn't fit. You're confused with a solar eclipse, where the Moon is exactly the right apparent size to block the Sun.

The Moon is red not because of its 'real' colour, but because there is still sunlight that reaches it: that sunlight passes through the Earth atmosphere and becomes red (just like the setting Sun is red).

Furthermore, your other comments are also almost completely wrong.

The moon pushes against the solid surfaces of the earth that can have gravitation distortions. in any case imgine the moon as a smaller magnet compared to the earths core. If the moon was not there, we would have no seasons and the earth would not tilt. the moons affect on the earths core has an influnence on many things. It puts pressure on the mantle which influences earthquakes, it influences weather systems by pushing on the core.
