  • Heil, heil, heil Hailstone! Wahoo!

  • @ 9:04 Larry, "As minister of propaganda" Moe, "I Don't wanna hear from you SMACK" LMAO!!

  • Its silly that this even has to be said but this video was not posted to make a political statement. Very few people think that hitler himself was a good person or funny in anyway. Hitler himself was not amused at all by this portration of himself. He personally wanted them killed. The stooges were also jewish so I'm sure they even more sensitive to the killing Hitler was doing at the time. Its also important to remember that these shorts were being made DURING the war not 71 yrs later.

  • @american2015 They were laughing at Hitler, not with him.

  • @american2015

I don't think that Americans realized that Hitler was killing as many people as he did at this point in history. Charlie Chaplain is quoted after World War II as saying he would not have produced "The Little Dictator" --- which also satirized Hitler --- if he'd known the Holocaust was going on.

  • @american2015 More important to American culture, this short was made in 1940, before the Germans invaded France. The stooges were there before anyone else when it comes to satirizing the Germans. American opinion was also still very neutral. This short almost got cited for "inflammatory" behavior towards the Nazi party by senators who were hoping to maintain neutrality. This was cancelled by the bombing of pearl harbor a year and a half later.

  • @phantom12321800 Very interesting!!

  • @american2015 they really had balls back then...

  • beblach!

  • I want to be a saloonatic!

  • comedy gold

  • i never reallu understood American comedy.... either old or new....

  • @TheRadioPotato Then you have no sense of humor.

  • @zaku32888 your telling me you find this funny?

  • @TheRadioPotato No shit sherlock, I do find it funny. Now go back under your rock.

  • "in pupik gehabt haben"...means "I've had it in the bellybutton" in Yiddish. Its a semi-obscenity...

Moe says that during his speech..

  • @HowBrownPhiladelphia then you MUST know, WHAT DOES BEBLAKH MEAN? LOL i always thought it sounded yiddish or hebrew....beblakh LOL

  • @gasper47

    Beblach means "beans"...

  • @gasper47 i started saying that to my friends everytime something good would happen and then shake their hands LOL we didnt know what it meant but it caught on for a bit...being armenians we have no problem with the ch (khh) sound

  • Larry: "What's a matter with him?"

Curly: "He got up on the wrong side of the gutter this morning."

    What priceless comedic geniuses.

  • This is hilarious I love the three stooges!!!!

  • 1. Click 4:48

    2. Repeat over and over!

  • Awesome! I love this episode of the Stooges, but I never knew you could see it in color. Thanks for posting!

  • 5:30 is Moe speaking in German?

  • @linkfan160 I asked my german friend this question too when we were watching this and she said that most of the "german" that Moe speaks is made up german nonsense words. Does this help?

  • I love the three stooges. no show will ever be liek theirs!

  • when moe asks why they don't have lions,

what does curly mean when he says: because there are no bones in ice cream

some body please interpret that for me

  • Any body

can anybody translate what moe says in german

  • Very good. Love the color.

  • for those who dont know what the stooges say when they meet the munitions guys. its Shalom Aleichem. all three being askhenazi jews say yiddish things from time time(more so in this episode) and say literally peace unto you.

  • This was a fantastic way to mock Hitler.

Moe sounds so creepy when he's speaking German though...sounds exactly like Hitler.

  • Larry...."Well take him up on a roof and overthrow him!"

  • "Quiet while I think !"

  • what a gr8 way for 3 Jews to mock Hitler. from the marx bros in duck soup to Chaplin in the gr8 dictator to mel brooks in the Producers spoof Springtime for Hitler this was a way to ridicule and satirize an egomaniac ruler.

  • curly says "not my little red book" and its black...fail color people.fail

  • Woo! Woo! Woo!

  • Why does Mossoulini doing in there?

  • "You go to the saloon and buy free beer for all the 'salooniticks'" ROFL!

  • however, the false history books and sources still see bernays and sanger, among other progressives as being one of the most influential people in history but fail to mention what their intents were.

  • bernays, who just happened to be the twisted sigmund freud's nephew not a surprise that freud's own nephew would too turn out a radical. also, margaret sanger was also the one that influenced left wingers about eugenics. interesting stuff that can be learned from original sources and not revised history.

  • they should have been an episode of the wilson administration as well. the reason being is that according to the hitler's then hand picked successor, joespeh goebbels as stated in his journal recovered after ww2 that the they (the nazi party) learned proganda from the progressive Americans. to be more specific from the Woodrow Wilson administration- edward bernays, the propoganda expert who served under the progressive king woodrow wilson.

  • "Gong"

    3:00 Bolonia Watch time

  • snakes for swastikas. They were very clever back then!

  • What they say is "Beblack" Which is the Yiddish word for "Beans"

  • 2 people got fucked by hitler

  • yah

  • Mmmm hamburger and eggs...

  • Ixnay, Amscray and Ohnay, LOL

  • That 1 dislike must be from a German.

  • @22dab95 thats so funny that you said that. But true this is an awesome episode. ;)

  • i prefer it in its original format (the black and white version) but to see it in color is interesting. the only episode i like in color is pop goes the easel because you can see the details.

3 dislikes. boo. come on Hitler probably even loved this. lol

  • @american2015 no no theyre accidental...from laptop mousepads...even a german would love this!

  • @american2015 thank you so much for putting these up but i have a question, do u have the episode where the stooges are in court

  • @Hoenn1234 I sure do, and in color! Disorder in the court.

  • @22dab95 probally a jew.

  • @angryfurniture WHo? Me or the person that disliked this video? The 3 stooges were Jewish you know. A Jew wouldn't dislike this video. It was a German.

  • @22dab95 A NAZI, not a German's are Nazis.

  • @spooky57571 I know. I was just joking. Calm down.

  • Beblach!

  • what does the message mean when its says the resemblence of the person is a mircale

  • i hate hitler

  • Hmm... A PARASITE!... that's me... rotfl!

  • One of the funniest Three Stooges videos ever. Especially the Moe speech when Larry puts up the HISS sign and gets clobbered.

  • I wish Moe wore the mustache when he was giving the speech.

  • a pappa gander maries a mamma gander and they have a lot of little goslings pth pth pth pth pth pth pth pth pth pth pth pth pth pth pth pth pth pth pth lol

  • It only took a long time for Hitler to work his way to dictatorship but Moe Hailstone got the offer and became dictator right away and it never did take a long time for Hailstone to become a dictator. So, now he's a dictator and he never has take a long time to work his way to dictator as Hitler did.

  • Are the makers of "You nazty spy" and "I'll never heil again" scandalizing the life of Adolf Hitler? Are the three stooges doing the same?

  • Cutting-edge stuff back then. The 3 Stooges (Moe, Curly and Larry) were the first ones to ever produce a film of any kind that was Anti-Hitler, which even earned them a spot on his infamous "Death List"...

  • interesting to watch in colour, this is a classic i remember watching this on a VHS tape when i was a kid.

  • Beblach. Yiddish for Beans.

  • Amazing how much Moe looks like hitler with the moustach. lol

  • This must have been a big one the stooges did right here.

They did a WWII spoof when WWII was ACTUALLY IN PROGRESS! I wonder how people reacted to this.

All I know is if World War 3 ever started there would be people who would be upset if a parody existed a year into the war. I bet this one was controversial but legendary, IMO

  • @Bustersword07 True but we were not at war yet, like the Denisy cartoon With Donold Duck"In the fuhrer's face" When we did enter you never saw these being played

  • its so funny that at 5:43, Curly is sort of imitating Mussolini, XDD these guys were pure genius, and will never be forgotten!

  • This pretty much sums WWII right up! x-P

  • lol i love how moe trys to say woo once to sound like curly lol

  • Its even funnier than other spoofs because hitler was still alive when this came out lol

  • i never understand moe's favorite taste of being a parody hitler

  • Is it just me or is this colorization excellent ?!

  • Hel Hel Hedluck

  • From 1:03 to 1:30

That explains alot about the military industrial complex. Their plan also explains how George W. Bush entered power.

  • That drinking sound effect gets me every time. The crunch is awesome too.

  • This is a national treasure. Thanks!

  • The Three Stooges getting political here. Excellent.

  • Can anybody explain the "no bones in ice cream" joke? I was told J Lyons & co was an ice cream company around that time but to us in this generation it's sort of.... either dated or I missed something.

  • "As Minister of propaganda, I...... Don't wanna hear from you!" SMACK!!!... This is just classic.....

  • Where'd you get the chicken?

    "From and Egg"

    Where'd you get the egg?

    "From a Chicken"

A vicious Cycle, we must kill it.

-That was a great take on the old Chicken or the Egg dilemma.

  • Noice. I love the color.

  • Now THIS is what I call comedy.

  • excellent comic actor forever, Curly, Larry, Moe and Shemp

  • @shinobiakatsuki you forgot Joe & Curly Joe too!

  • I must know something, why was the stooges always shorter than most men?

  • @lrjtmntfan Moe and Larry were only 5"4" and Curly was 5'5"

  • @bdougwrx thanks for pointing that out. I always wondered as a kid why everyone towered over them.

  • because theres no bones in ice cream 8:20 LOL =)

  • I love the piglatin. Mr. Ixnay (nix), Mr. Amscray (scram), Mr. Onay (no) and the yiddish around 1:50 (shalom aliechem -- something like that).

  • hamburger and eggs hahahahahahaha

5:32 moe speech 5:35-5:47 jiminey cricket lol ya ya ya ya ya ya man ahlelua hahahaha 6:20 curly dance mix

  • The opening 0:25 is just like the opening title for South Park lol

Disclaimer: Any similarity between this comment and others is purely an astronomical coincidence.

  • haha

  • Moe+ ' The Fuhrer Adolf Hitler

    Curly+'Reich Marshall' Hermann Goering

    Larry+ 'Reich Minister' Joseph Goebbels

  • @DeuceReggs

I allways thought Curly was Mussolini

  • "A Chicken! Throw him into a concentration camp."

  • @Kirbylivnewton: "A chicken, blone or brunette?"

    "Hail, Hail, Hailstone!!" LOL!!

  • Comment removed

  • lol moe howard and his mustache, he always did resemble a funny hitler to me.

  • in THIS episode his name is Moe Hailstone he has that name, (Howard) in the hospital episode

  • the hospital episode (Black Men)

  • Hisssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss!!!!

  • Moe's kept staring at people's hands! LOL 9:12

  • FUNNNNY!

  • how did they later make these episodes in color? weren't they filmed in black and white?

  • it's colorized. A computer program isolates regions and identifies movement patterns, recognizes original colors, and adds them in digitally. This is one of the better ones.

  • its like these black and white movie are really negatives ready for perfection

  • 7:17 - Unlike Zack Ryder from ECW, "Woo Woo Woo!", but you know it!

  • @FlukeDogg08 Nice Zach Ryder plug. Woo woo woo! You know it!

  • Hey Curly says not his little "red" book but look at it, its colored black. wonder if that was an error or if that was the joke?

  • I can't see it because it says that in my country it there is a law against it....but what's funny is that I can see the 1st part!

  • I just watched part 2 again, to see if there are any Italian jokes, and I didn't catch any, unless it's banned because of Curly's resemblance to Musolini. Google search the episode, and maybe you'll find some other video hosting site where it's not banned in your country.

  • No Curly is supposed to be Göring, so I can't think of a reason I can't watch the second part, but the film in black & white is completely banned and can't see any of it lately....they say because of copyright restrictions. I managed to see it anyway though, can't tell you how.

  • Well, I'm glad you finally got to see it. Not only because of its comedic value, but its historic significance. I can't figure the German Italian alliance in that war. Much of the Third Reich was based on the Roman Empire, so for that reason it makes sense, except for the fact that it was mainly the Germans (combined Europeans, but mainly Germans) who finally ended the Roman Empire. If they had succeeeded, and history is repetitive, maybe there would've been a betrayal. Who'd trust Hitler?

  • Isnt one of the men Ted Healy? I thought they stopped working with him in 1932?

  • Healy died in 1935... So it cant be.

  • fuckin nazi

  • Whats interesting is that they are not far off from what really happened.

The elites (bankers) targeted Hitler as their "stooge" to start a war.

    Damn I'm witty.

  • then Hitler bumped off the bankers, stole the show----and murdered millions!

  • Comment removed

  • It's not a coincidence, the similarities were intended. It's a satire. The writers and the players and everyone else involved beat you to it.

  • @mikez565 Refer to the book "Wall Street and the Rise of Hitler", now online. The same author also did two squeals to that book, "Wall Street and the Bolshevik Revolution" and "Wall Street and Franklin D. Roosevelt". You're not that far off from the truth. Down with the banker elite! Down with the Nazis and Reds!
