  • Bravo. This man is my hero. Pappe, Mandela, Gandhi...warriors for just peace.

  • israel's importance to the usa? are you kidding me?? The correct question to ask is what is usa's importance to israel and the answer is: usa is israeli muscle....usa is the mercenary, the gun for hire that is already sending usa troops and weapons into israel currently....often christianity is criticized for historic actions,,,but this business about "chosen" and the ethnic identity is overboard....

  • @TheHobbgobblin israel still holds some importance to the USA being her "daughter" in the middle east. Hopefully the Arab spring will prove genuine in at least some Arab countries, resulting in real democratic governments capable of running i real relationship with other countries, thus majorly reducing Israel political and strategical importance.

  • The Russell Tribunal on Palestine and its eminent panel of international jurists has determined that Israel's practices against the Palestinian people are in breach of the prohibition of apartheid under international law. Following two intense days in Cape Town listening to testimony from expert witnesses, the Tribunal concluded unanimously that "Israel subjects the Palestinian people to an institutionalised regime of domination amounting to apartheid as defined under international law."

  • @phellenic Its a lot more worst than apartheid..Its an inhumane occupation .

  • Why do you put the word revolution in "quotes"?

  • @dionisio454 you left your assertions so vague such that you could make this prejudiced point. Jews can marry who they want, but if they would like to have a traditional wedding, rather than secular, both spouses will need to be jews. This holds true in all scripture based religions. Secondly, I'm a mizrahi jew, and we're not looked down upon. Lastly, "serious pressure"? Bullshit. People will disagree, but Israel has freedom of speech just like the US does. Don't post when you have no knowledge.

  • @MrOvvey You're no looked down upon? are you sure about that? That's some serious denial right here.

The Arabs aren't 2nd class, more like 5th or 6th class in this racist country.

  • Much love, respect, and admiration to Mr. Pappe.

  • Besides in israel a jew cannot marry a non jew - unless this person goes through a very strange process of convertion ruled by a rabi employed by the state!! The arabs are conseidered 2 class citizens and even mizrazchi jews - jews from north africa and arab countries and black jews from etyopia, the falashas are looked down by the white ashkenazi european jews..if you criticize israeli official policy toward the palestinians you may suffer serious pressure..what a strange democracy..

  • If Israel is not a democracy because of occupation, the Great Britain was definitely not a democracy when it was an empire. And USA wasn't a democracy when it discriminated blacks or invade and occupied Vietnam, and they're not democratic today when they're in Iraq. But in reality, democracy has nothing to do with a benign foreign policy.

  • one more little anti-israeli. it is fascinating how much these people judge only isreli politics and never palestinian politics and behaviours.

This video is so poor, ridiculous

  • @sentinellaeuropea Ilan Pappe is an israeli jew dumbass. And he is one of Israel's most renowned historians.

  • @sentinellaeuropea hahaha ilan is an israeli.a great man who won't hide what his country has become or what atrocities it commits.in short he knows a lot more than you do and he's a fucking lot more qualified to voice an opinion than israel firsters like yourself.

  • this man should be give the noble prize.

a hero, a shinning example to all of us.

  • EXCELLENT MAN.

  • I'm a New Zealander so I have to point out Pappe's error around 19:00. There was a treaty (Waitangi, 1840) between the British crown and the Maori. The crown claimed some Maori land, there were wars in the 1870s and now attempts are being made to promote Maori culture and finanically compensate Maori loss of land to the crown. So there was not the 'incomplete atrocity' that Pappe claims.
