There was a Wet Pets in PA that was pretty cool. It'd be hilarious if they were related.

As to the comment about actual pet wetting, I think a class action lawsuit should be in order to discourage false advertising and increase customer satisfaction. Also the cats should be given small floaties.

Sweet Jesus, I cannot stop laughing.

I saw this on a local cable ad, and thought, "no freaking way, they cannot be serious." I was half expecting the Energizer Bunny to come rolling by, but then realized an hour later that I was still humming this ridiculous ad.

I then found it on youtube, and was surprised to see over 100k views. I went to work, and was trying to show a coworker and he was singing it word for word along with the video.

I'm waiting for the world tour. Amazing!

that happened because the ad jingle song from that commercial was played on a gaming podcast.. one of the 1up podcasts to be specific. i presume enough people did google searches for 'wet pets' after hearing that podcast, and they then found this video. but people, please, dont prank call the poor pet store people. that is an asinine thing to do and it makes you fools.

This jingle starts out promisingly, but disappoints. The picture of a wide variety of animals living together in peace and harmony ("Only place where fish and lizards/ hang out with cats and chinchillas") culminates in crass commercialism ("any pet you can get and take home") that runs directly counter to the pet-topia presented in the opening lines. I give it 3 stars out of a possible 5. Am I too generous? Some may say yes.

Gentlemen, gentlemen, let us not be too hasty whilst analyzing the words of this modern day pet poet. What he is really saying is that Wet Pets (ostensibly located in San Pablo) is the one whom controls these "Wet Pets", and that he was merely an observer of said controlling. His "dope rhymes" are more a reflection of what the common man may see in Wet Pets. Whether or not the majority of the pets "hang out" with each other (or are even wet [aside from fish]) is only known by the controller.
