this interviewer, let me just say, he is sitting at least 2 full arms lengths away from biiiig george. If he were any closer, instead of giving an answer to the baby-like questions, the young george would throw a shot at him and walk out.
when i first saw george when he fought in the olympics up to the fight with ali, i was scared by this image of an angry young man. then, for a long time he was out of boxing. when he came out endorsing the cooking grille just before he went back to boxing, he looked to me a better and happier man! long live george!
Class. Unlike Ali. Everyone loves Ali as a vegetable now - but he was classless and nasty. Foreman would have beaten him 9 times out of ten if they did it over. Foreman annihilated the men that beat Ali. Ali went the distance three times with Frazier, the thoughest of them all - George knocked the crap out of Frazier etc. Had he not had his ten year break, he would have cemented his greatness amongst champions. Regains his crown at 46? Man, George Foreman was the greatest of all time
@Nautilus1972 depends on who you ask but had the fight been fought again the question of stamina would come in to question again the result would be the same as well.and the man you call a vegtable achieved more in just the time he got parkinsons than most will in lifetime I agree foreman seems a nice guy but bashing a guy which people should respect and admire for his positive achivments is not good.
gee, what an awesome humble champion!!!!!!!!!!!!!! he has truly found true greatness when he humbled himslef....what a champ! greater than all the boxers out there for sure!!!!!!!!
God this guy asks some really dumb things, he talks about depression and then he asks about how great it must have felt? Learn to improvise, guide the interview don't try to pilot it.
George Foreman! The man! You can see that Jim Brown influence in his background. He had that "Jim Brown" tough quality. Born tough. Great fighter and man...
george was great. he looked scary as hell when he had his hair and sideburns. but ali sure was clever the way he beat him. george was awesome the way he demolished frazier.
George is an example of what can happen when a person from the wrong side of the track is given a chance. I wish people who look down on poor people who understand that if alot of poor youth were given chances like this they could be something.
lol at 7:44. he says "I didn't look at boxers like other boxers. I looked at their head like a deer hunter. Ima put that thing and mount it on my wall."
George Foreman has to be the most articulate Boxer I've ever seen interviewed. And I've seen quite a few. Most Fighters are entertaining, but far from intelligent. Which, I suppose, is why the man is so wealthy. Good business choices. Also, I heard Hulk Hogan was first approached to be the Pitchman for the grill which has made George Foreman an incredibly wealthy man. I know Hogan could kick his OWN ass for being in the wrong place and the right time.
George's the man 4 real, nuff said great inventor,Named all his sons george,Has a great reality TV show, better than most of them,Has video games based on him ,Dad,Husband,Boxer,ESPN commentary,a little acting too not much tho and he host SNL.WTH does he not do?
maybe ali was the best technical boxer but george is the best character ever in boxing. you see a man happy with himself, not talking bad about ali. george the people love you all over the world. god bless you
@1967tuncay You are right!!! I am living in Germany, but I hope you can understand me. I like Foreman, because he is a very good man. I remember when he was young and he was showing as a black man the american flag. Others like Ali were always talking about racism, Foreman was understanding himself as an american man
GETTIN KO'D OFF Ali was stupid, ruined him,n j.Young finished him,Beatin Moorer was only possible cause TYSON was in prison,if George n Mike had met with the age difference there cudda been a fatality[4 George]n that would have been a nail in boxings coffin.....thats y it WOULD NEVER HAVE HAPPENED.U were lucky George
u can watch them spar on YT...........Sonny is about 44-48 then[officially]Liston was at his peak circa 55-61 when aged about 27-33,no birth date,no official death date-sad-v.sad-Sonny was awesome H.Cooper said he'd have fought anyone XCEPT SONNY LISTON.....

You know, people criticize the interviewer here. I think he does a good job. He's quite well-informed and respectful. Asks good questions, too.

Foreman's a good interview. Back in the 70's he was so quiet. He's really a very intelligent guy.

This is proof that George's head is made of Russian Titanium-Diamond forged from the fires of the Sun.
After all those fights George seems healthy, bald, and happy. He's like Buddha........ okayyyyy, I'm gonna stop now before I get punched.

Damn, you would think that George would be a little punchy after all his fights. He's still sharp.

George didn't take all that many punches; Holyfield and Ronnie Lyle womped him pretty good but that was about it.
