They did a great job of this Willie Dixon tune, but never took it pass simple 3 cord progression. It was great for whatever YR it was '70. The leads are great as is the sparring between Jimmy's guitar and Plants vocals, but I prefer the Etta James version better.

I Remember in highschool every album keeped getting better and every song was great. Finaly seen them in 1979 at Boston Garden right before I went in Marines just before I graduated .Then Bonzo died couple months later.I was crushed new life would never be the same, and it wasn't. stairway was pretty much national rock & roll anthem miss it
