Mike Perham, who at the age of 15 just became the youngest person to single hand around the world, did it in an open 50!!! A 15yr old single handing such a boat, let alone anyone, is amazing.

Alex does the trip round the world in half the time! + i bet if he would have had the chance to go round the globe (if he had cash) he would have done it! He is an awsome sailor and comparing him whit mike is dumb, it took mike 9 months to do the trip on a open 50 (i think) and im sure i could have done it faster if I was given a chance (i don t have the cash)

These things are designed to plane on the flat part of the hull, which is in the rear.Truly amazing boats!
