guys he just frozed it with nitrogen its a gas that can freeze or harden any solid/liquid ... now since a banana the inside is mostly a kind of slime it when u freeze it it turns rock hard its almost as strong as a hammer its like ice
@50gunquota When dealing with cryogenic liquids it's a common practice to not use gloves. In the worst case, the liquid could become trapped in between the glove and your hand causing injuries worse than if you'd let the leidenfrost effect protect you.
i just had too look up a vid on N2 after watching a ep of time warp;where they froze objects with this chemical.
and i was wondering can this stuff freeze a full bloomed flower?if so for how long?
i have a odd hobby of collecting and storing flowers between sheets of wax paper in thick books, and to be able to keep a flower in a living like state whould be quite interesting i think.
considering most flowers im unable to flatten such as carnation or a rose.
Too dense to scatter, the same would be with an apple, or sth similar. That's the main difference why flower is brittle and marshmallow easily crumbled.
Mass and density of object used would later on determine its properties.
Ah... Now I know why the dense objects like bananas and the light objects like flower petals differ when it comes to crushing.. Thanks for enlightening me!
my teahcer showed my class this video today

thanks for entertaining...
but it's easier and cheaper to find a hammer than finding such kidda gas (isn't it CO2?)
villainy07 2 years ago
It's liquid nitrogen. It's like 70 cents a liter.a banana is about 45 cents, so it's cheaper if you only need to hammer something a few times.

You don't need gloves when handling liquid nitrogen :) Boiling water is more dangerous
