  • i was at that game

    i still remember

    row 10 seat j

    i was crying

  • haha our economy may suck dick thanks to a rodeo clown from texas and his egotistical wars but were still the shit at sports haha

  • As Americans we pride ourselves in any sort of competition, whether we were the best team in the world or not does not matter, American pride is a very powerful thing, and as much as we are divided sometimes, it doesnt take much to pull us Americans together for the greater good. So yes, we will act like this over soccer, and football, and the olympics, and any thing else in which we are represented amoung the world

  • @cvirga1 Right on brotha!

  • You mean Futbol not soccer.

Yea i know same thing just sayin

  • The yanks are sleeping giants when it comes to football.

They could be a force to be reckoned with in years to come but it's always good to see Support like this.

  • @MrVillamike If we change our opinions about the sport (i.e. not slandering it anymore because the Europeans like it) then maybe we'd be World Cup winners in no time.

  • soccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

  • hahaha nice

  • Y U NO KEEP CAMERA STILL???

  • I play hockey and I'll admit that soccer is the best sport ever that's why I'm playing next year

  • "The World Cup is bigger than footbal, basebal, basketball and hockey combined."

I couldn't get the point, The World Cup is football. And WTF is "soccer'?

  • What the fuck is SOCCER??

  • @caravaggio31 Soccer is a passion not just a sport, The World Cup is bigger than footbal, basebal, basketball and hockey combined.

  • Lol honestly thats hardly a great reaction... go watch the English Premier League. Theres more excitment from fans when their clubs score.

    /watch?v=7iFEtwb8xzo

  • amazing moment.... too bad we cant have more moments like this!!!!!!!!! U.s.AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!

  • i would do anything just to watch one world cup game

  • due i believe the stadium, but not marine

  • you wouldn't think that americans would act like this over soccer!

  • @whakjob980 Why not? Unlike what the Europeans like to believe, Soccer is one of the most popular sports here!

  • @Headcheezonium it's not what the Europeans believe or not...it's what our own americans here say... I know MANY europeans all over Spain, Germany, France who love that Americans love soccer... you ask ANY NFL watching red neck what they think of Soccer(or as i call, THE ORIGINAL FOOTBALL hehe) they will say it's for pussies and faggots.. to which i reply.. "ahhh so in soccer they take the same hits football players do WITHOUT pads.. now who's the pussy? LOL :)

  • @whakjob980 i think your trading in on stereotype, while forgetting another one entirely: americans' predilection for jingoism....no one can out-patriot an american...

  • @whakjob980 its called football u fucking retard

  • @kurohige1338 guess what? it's only a game, and in north america we call it SOCCER not to confuse it with another hugely popular sport FOOTBALL so stfu

  • @whakjob980 Ye. Football that you play with your hands and an egg, and not with your feet or a ball. SO STOP CALLING IT SOCCER; YOU TRASH

  • @kurohige1338 You know the English created the word soccer? The Australians call it soccer, the South Africans call it soccer, the New Zealanders call it soccer, the Canadians call it soccer and America calls it soccer, so actually YOU NEED TO STFU AND CALL IT SOCCER

  • @fantasyexctasy Why would I care if a few third world countries are incapable of speaking their own language? Football is whatever is played both with feet and with a ball - and that's the case only for what you piece of shit actually still call soccer.

  • @kurohige1338 Yeah you just got pwned. Go cry in the corner where nobody can see you

  • @kurohige1338 We also say "gasoline" when others say "petrol". Are you such a moron that this confuses you? Does the whole world need to say "petrol"? Is it really so important to you?

  • @kurohige1338

Americans forced Australians to call their team "Socceroos"? And Aussies and Kiwis aren't Third World.

Just suffer knowing that Limey's called it Soccer, and that's how it spread to your English speaking relatives. It must hurt you at night, you should cry yourself to sleep.

    sniffle sniffle

  • @fantasyexctasy Japanese call it soccer too!, can find plenty of examples! And for those resorting to insults and name calling, thank you for showing your intelligence :P.

  • @fantasyexctasy They created the word but they still call the sport "Football". Soccer is more or less the nickname for the sport as well as the ball. The reason why other countries call it "soccer" is because someone bastardized Rugby and named it "Football".

  • @fantasyexctasy Yes and would do all those countries have in common? Yes, English colonial background. The rest of the world - including England now - call it football

By the way, google "new zealand soccer". The first hit is nzfootball.co.nz.

  • @Krommak Just because their FA calls it football doesn't mean the people do.

  • @Krommak Is there any more tedious argument in the world than this? Is there? In Italy lots of people call it, translated, "kick". So what? You know what we mean, we know what you mean, quit being a tool.

  • @whakjob980 Once again proving that most people don't know jack about Americans -_-

  • nobody wants to see your shitty face at 41 seconds.. a world cup goal was just scored

  • @burnsyny they gave that world cup to qatar

  • @RyanAllbery if you read that comment carefully you can see that's sorta the whole point of him posting it...

  • FIFA is anti American they won't let America host the game.

  • @nitro300 Actually you hosted the World Cup back in 1994, which is not that long ago for a tournament that's only being held every 4 years.

  • @Karash770

And Europe hosted 5 years ago, the one right before South Africa...and then in 1998. So Europe will get it 3-times, AT LEAST, before North America gets another world cup. And they only put it here in 94 to kickstart interest from fans and investors in starting a league to send FIFA even more money.

  • This gave me chills. 'Merica!

  • Can't wait to see us score some goals on our own turf in 2022!!

Wait, WHAT? They gave it to who?!?

  • @burnsyny America lost the bid to Qatar if you don't know. So u won't be hosting it.

  • I hope I can experience something like this in my lifetime. I would have been a crying excited mess.

  • You sound like a dying baby calf with a spear through its neck...

    Great goal tho

  • @1987iniesta well you said football which is only spelled that way when you talk about american football..If you wouldve said futbol then that is talking about soccer...You said only middle calss white boys play soccer here in the usa? You dont know wtf you are talking about...Everyone from every part of the country plays soccer..actually more poor kids play than middle class or rich..Please stfu already before you make yourself look more stupid then you already have..answer my question

  • @Kushsmoka420 Ur right about every part plays but if anything the make is more middle or richer class play, but thats just my opinion, either way ur right he should stfu. The reason I'm commenting is because u said 'football' is spelled 'futbal' in relation to soccer & 'football' in regards to american football; that's not true at all, foreigners/immigrants mostlly use that or americans [of any race] that want to sound cultured [eventhough it's actually incorrect english (US dialect) & wrong].

  • @Kmagnus80 Well actually when you spell it that way when speaking to most people in AMerica they will assume you are talking about american football..Now when its spelled "futbol" not "futbal" like you spelled it then anyone can recognize that you are talking about "soccer"...I get your point tho and yes that guy finally stfu hahaha

  • @1987iniesta No "americans" that i know ever use the term brits...Your comment makes no sense whatsoever...Im assuming you are from the uk so you have no idea of how people live and speak in america, specifically california....Everyone is a fan of football (american) in the usa not just middle class....That has nothing to do with it...I want you to clarify what you mean when you say ill be in for a night like none other?

  • @1987iniesta .what is it with foreigners and the word "yank"?? No one in the US ever uses that word except when they talk about the yankees baseball team..Is that some sort of insult? Anyways Ive been in plenty of skirmishes at USA vs Mexico games in Los Angeles..Algerian fans wouldve been in for a beating..Trust me

  • @1987iniesta Oh, sorry, Britain,

  • And the game after, bye-bye (although less humiliating than the UK's exit)...

  • Glenn Beck disliked this video.

  • Go USA!!!

  • couldn't really see what was going on, but since you went to the trouble of filming a world cup game in SOUTH AFRICA, i liked the video. USA USA USA!!!!!!!

  • 1 algerian watched this.

  • I was there....had an awesome time.

    Go USA!

  • I was at this game in Pretoria...the majority of the Algerian fans I saw were pricks…some were cool these were the exception. Most were pricks, I personally saw a couple of guys throwing firecrackers into the US crowd and generally acting pretty much like a bunch of 3rd world losers....I saw more than a few get knocked around and rightfully so.

  • @kckcmctcrc Lots o peeps hate our govt, as they should the way our govt dictates around the world based on greed and empire. I am betting that is why they would act like that towards you. Not that you set foreign policy in this country, but we are responsible for not holding our politicians feet to the fire. Too many do and say nothing, while our govt give us a bad name around the world by representing corporate empire and bank cartels, while sugarcoating our reasons to do so.

  • Hahha een gekkenhuis!/Madhouse! Still remember this game ;)

  • dude i re,eber that day i was in school there was like 50 of u si crammed in the math room and whemn they scored we all flipped another 75 students were out in the hallway watichin the end of the year slideshow but we freaking out.

  • Donovan is the king of USA!

  • @etaoin17 yeah Very very very good

    I' am fan landon Doonovan

  • BIGJAKE! I SEE BIGBAKE! 0:05-0:07

  • @gprime85 That's right! :D Happy Ending!

  • I can only imagine how much of a close knit atmosphere those stands must've had. Like the atmosphere where you've got your arm around an American that you don't know just because your team's out on the field and you're cheering against the rest of the world. I want and NEED to go to the Cup in 2014.

  • VUVUZELAAAA!!!!

  • I was my Marine unit on a deployment. And about 100 of us crammed into a small room with a tv we managed to make work somehow. Didn't matter what skin or cultural background you were from we were all under the same flag. chanting USA and going nuts. When Donovan scored, the whole room exploded with pride. (some idiot knocked the tv over from his excitement and we couldn't watch the rest) Good ol' USA. :) REPEAT 2014!!!

  • @AmericanMarine0311 that's so awesome man!

  • @AmericanMarine0311 Hahaha, in 2006 I was coming back with the 11th MEU and our berthing area was crammed watching the games. Good shit.

  • @Chingadazos fuck yeah devil!

  • @AmericanMarine0311 Repeat? How about go even further! USA 2014 would cup champs!

  • @AmericanMarine0311 what a Story, thank you and God bless you and your Bros !

  • Comment removed

  • @AmericanMarine0311 dude that's nice and all, but it's pretty stereotypical the way you described it...so ireally dont blieve u

  • @whakjob980 Why would you not believe AmericanMarine0311, when identical celebrations occured at hundreds, if not thousands, of locations, across the USA & around the world? BTW, I'm IN the video! :D

  • @AmericanMarine0311 I don't want to get knocked out in the quarterfinals, I want to go all the way!!!!

  • Best 30 seconds of my life were the ones right after that goal

  • I was in this section in front of the big-ass US flag. I remember being so out of breath after all the cheering for this goal. I'll never forget how amazing this feeling was. It definitely deserves to be called one of the top 5 greatest moment's in the 2010 World Cup.

  • @hardrockerofsoccer DEF!!!!! THIS WAS SOMTHING SPECAIL CUZ NO1 EVA IN THE HISTORY OF SOCCER HAS GONE THIS CRAZY FOR IT!!!!!! IN THE USA

  • mannnn I wish I could be there. that would be awesome.

  • thats awesome....

i probably would've socked any algerian supporters near by just for the hell of it

  • @Kushsmoka420 roflmaoo i wouldve helped you dude

  • @EvelynBabyyx3 ..hahaha hell ya rofl

  • @Kushsmoka420 >:]

  • @EvelynBabyyx3 lol i cant tell what that face means

  • @Kushsmoka420 Lol it's just a smiley haah !

  • Well i guess i joined your club

  • @Kushsmoka420 Why think about punching someone? The USA fans bring a different vibe to the game. Afterwards, we shook hands with the passing Algerians, even those who were angry or depressed. That's sportsmanship. It wasn't them; it was the poor refereeeing that was pissing us off. ANyway, it was an awesome moment!

  • @JBigjake ...because I bring an aggressive vibe to the game..When I play I am intense for 90 mins and when i cheer i am intense for 90 mins...Either way I had some pent up anger from the refs (as you pointed out) and if an Algerian would've given me a dirty look it would be all over!!!

  • @Kushsmoka420 It's OK to be intense (we all were! :D), but the US fans have a rep for being friendly & sportsmanlike. I didn't go all the way to South Africa to get into a fight! Or banned from Brazil for WC'14!

  • @JBigjake ...All i can say is my comment has a few thumbs up so people agree with it!!!

  • @JBigjake I completely agree. and i also can't wait to go back to cali in 2 days and roll up some straight OG koo!

  • @Kushsmoka420 and that is where they would have killed all of you....

  • @ConCon75 ..No one would've done shit..You snad n*ggers are the biggest p*ssies around

  • @Kushsmoka420 hahaha yea whatever mate, first off im not a "sand nigger" and secondly you obviously have never been to a football match in europe or north africa..

  • @ConCon75 I dont care what you are..No I havent but Ive been to plenty of usa vs mexico games and trust me it gets violent every time

  • @Kushsmoka420 hmm so have I and i dont remember any of this lol what a loser... why would you even lie about something like that?

    Violence in fitbaw is sad

  • @ConCon75 i hope you are being sarcastic because I guarantee you havent been to a usa vs mexico game especially in the LA area...I have personally got into a skirmish every time

  • @Kushsmoka420 you are a loser... you think that makes you a big man? and I can 100% guarentee ive been to a USA Mexico game.

only drunken rascist faggots like you try to attack non violent supporters or the odd ultra (which a big man like you should know is just not on)

  • @ConCon75 .What are you talking about you f*cking dumbass? I never said it made me anything I was simply stating that "shit goes down" at these games especially in the los angeles area (which i guarantee you have never been to a usa vs mexico game at the L.A. Coliseum)..It has nothing to do with race..Where did you get that from? And wtf is an "odd ultra"? must be a EURO thing...Please stop responding to comments left months ago..Get a life

  • @Kushsmoka420 you are fuckin clueless and you are an embarassment to your countries football fans..

  • @ConCon75 ..the only clueless person here is you..Please dont replay to comments over a week old...Do us all a favor and kill yourself please

  • @ConCon75 learn to take a joke. that comment was funny. it made me lol.

  • @xomolliemariee well then you are an idiot, punching an opposition fan in the face because your team scored isnt remotley funny, unless you take it up the shit pipe after handegg practice in the showers...

  • @ConCon75 No i'm not an idiot. Why are you getting so defensive over a comment? haha. You need to grow a set.. You don't get it, so i'll explain it. It's not about punching him in the face, it just how it said it and if you visual what he said he would do, it's really funny. Picturing someone celebrating then see him just punch a random Algerian fan in face is priceless. Just because you don't find humor in it doesn't mean to get all butthurt.. haha you look kinda ridiclous fighting over this.

  • @xomolliemariee i understand the "joke" its not funny unless you are ten, which if you are thats fine ill cut you some slack

  • @ConCon75 Apparently it is funny to people who aren't 10 or else it wouldn't get 18 thumps up. You need to choose your battles wisely, your fighting over something that was said 5 months ago... it's senseles unless you are ten, which if you are that's fine ill cut you some slack

  • @xomolliemariee hahah ah i forgot that majority is always right, stick to invading all round you and acting hard on the internet. America

    No Pasaran!

  • @Kushsmoka420 Ignorant thing to do.

  • @louididdy stfu..quit replying to comments that are 6 months old

  • @Kushsmoka420 I wasn't aware that there was a statute of limitations on comments, suck it.

  • @louididdy ..yea its called getting a life and not giving a shit what someone says on youtube 6 months ago.

  • @Kushsmoka420

the algerian supporter would have taken the hit for the same reason.

  • @grapeace either way they would have no choice...the only reason i say that is because watching the Algerians waste time and play with no class made me upset and getting the last minute goal was the best thing to happen...That will teach them a lesson on how to play the game the right way..

  • @Kushsmoka420

Yeah, it lacks class but it sadly is a strategy. Arabs find this strategy useful.

  • @Kushsmoka420 lmao dats fucked algeria was already eliminated lol

  • @Kushsmoka420 hilarious hhhahahaha

  • @TheAtrain817 hahah i seriously think I would've because I was pissed that we got another goal taken from us and they (Algeria) were being classless and wasting time just to try to eliminate the USA.

  • hey how much did the tickets cost?

  • @bcordova1234chivas

I flew across the country that morning and found tickets about 10 rows behind where this was taken for $80 (face value) the day of the game. Best last minute decision of my life

  • America is right there!!! Great vid. Go USA forever!!!!!

  • I love american football and baseball as much as the next American but nothing ever can bring about the same excitement as an important goal for your country in the 2 years of qualifying or the 4 weeks of World Cup Finals.

  • I SHOULD HAVE FORKED OVER THE MONEY! I should have gone!

  • wow that must of been so epic to be there

  • god i wish i would have been there

  • welcome to the world America

  • nothing compares to the experience of screaming a goal on the very same stadium. GO USA!

  • i made a promise to myself before i leave this earth i must experience this

  • @tongsongkiong So did i!

  • epic...... once in a life time deal right there

  • What I would have paid to been there. Cherish that man. Thanks for posting

  • Awesome vid, Jeff. What a memory to share with your family and children and grandchildren and nephews and nieces...
