and they talk alike - Marcella - Miss you so Much!!! you were a great inspiration in my life!
and your nephew is to all in this sport!!! Hello "Guy" it's- Miss Debbie! Do you remember Bernice, Eleanor, Signey, Mr. Mulvey, Mr. Emily, Alson Blanney I will remember you all As we all shared a common bond - the Language of MUSIC!! Loomis Temple of Music!! Pianos Organs Sheet Music & dedicated Workers for Marcella Lafleur & Charles Emily
YES I KNOW him! an acquaintance and a very nice man! I used to speak with him on the phone very often because he would always called his Aunt "Marcella Lafleur" my very special friend!!!whom is no longer with us!! Marcella used to be always excited about Guy- he used to come into the Music Store and that was always exciting!! as her nephew IS a Hockey Legend!!
As an original Isles from from '72, I had the awesome priviledge of watching this man's artistry and fever pitched love for the game. He was down right scary, every time he stepped on the ice. I've seen him on the same play pull ridicously unbelievable moves, and then dive into an opponent's skates head long into the boards, to keep the play going, leading to a goal. A mixture of genius skill and bodily sacrifice that I will always remember - one of a kind, never to be seen again.
Total finesse is the way I remember him. He was so strong in the skills that are uncoachable. If you look at his clips, you can see a strikingly modern flair to his play. Definitely belongs in this Legends series.
I am a long-time Pittsburgh fan, and even though I really don't like Montreal, I can't hate Guy. He was an amazing player, and if it wasn't for him, the Canadiens wouldn't be the dynasty of the 70s that everyone tried to beat. For someone who was on the 4th line, he played more like a first line player. Best of all, Guy is the inspiration of my all time favorite player, Mario Lemieux.
I'm a diehard Leaf fan, 31 year season ticket holder and hate the Habs........but ..........the 1977 Montreal Canadians were a team that I just can't hate. They had every ingredient to having the perfect team, and an extremely exciting team. Starting with Dryden and then the perfect back end and the obvious fire power in front with the greatest power play. I was a closet Guy Lafleur fan cause he embodied everything a hockey player should be. He also made me proud to be a Canadian. Love you Guy.
I was born at the right time and in the right city to witness one of the greatest teams in hockey history, and Guy Lafleur was my favourite, although not far ahead of Shutt, Gainey, Robinson, Lapointe, Savard and Dryden. I'll always be grateful to have been so privileged.

the only thing I thought was so amazing about Guy Lafleur was him being able to smoke 2 packs a day and be the fastest skater on the ice

The clip where he snaps the puck high blocker against the flyers..... Wow. He shot that puck with a very small curve.

I met Guy Lafleur a couple years ago. He signed a painting I had of him and I later shook his hand. It was a fantastic feeling.

Guy was my fav. aswell.
Question: he took a hit during olympics or WC by a player Rick van Gogh. That hit took Guy out, does anyone have that on film?

I'm not even close to being a Habs fan (love my Oilers lol) BUT Lafleur was the one player i loved on this team (and to a lesser degree Patrick Roy)

I love the accolaides, "Thank God we have Lafleur", "He was a dimension higher than anybody else". It just gives me such goosebumps.
