I never seen anyone "swept the board" and get all 9 questions right. I think I saw it one time but, it was NOT this contestant. I think they won a car automatically. What prize did this lady win?
on the 2002-2003 season, If your last attempt wasn't successful, there'll be eight keys, and if you miss again, there'll be seven keys, and so on. More right answers = less keys.
As I recall, Hollywood Squares taped on the same stage as The Price is Right. Amazing how the lighting, floors, and props can totally change the look of a studio!
She is only one of 3 contestants to sweep the board during the "pick a key" bonus round format. The first to accomplish the feat was Karen Neuendorff on the April 22, 2003 episode during season 5
I love when Tom says "Oh just show her which one to open the trunk with"

Holy crap! I remember seeing a few times where the champion got eight out of nine in the bonus round, but I NEVER saw a champion sweep the board!

@Bballpat94 John Ritter was born in 1948 (9/17/48)

@Bballpat94 John Ritter 1948-2003, I remember seeing this on the final episode with him in it...such a tragedy a great slapstick comedy actor.

You really only need eight correct for the automatic win. She should have received some other bonus for nailing all nine.
ngarcia103 2 years ago 5
@ngarcia103 Yeah, good point..and she should've received another bonus for getting all 9 correct, nice call.

What on earth did she won? Cause it just look like a game in there
theshadowgame007 2 years ago
They usually mention the prize before they start playing the bonus game. Considering it was the trunk, I think she won a trip.

Why is it that all these contestants keep going in the same order of stars every time they play this bonus round?! It's not necessary!
TVLubber 3 years ago
My guess is that it's easier to just go row by row when the clock's ticking.

No. It's not. It wouldn't matter!
TVLubber 2 years ago
Maybe not to you. But when you've got thirty seconds to read nine names and answer nine questions it's easier to just go row by row.
You're a pompous jackass.

Not Old School.
After the 2 words, please remember in 1937-1950s:
1. MGM: Telly's roaring lion effect, making Tanner growl Taken from: "Little Ol' Bosko & the Cannibals"
2. MGM: Scott Bradley's music as the original fanfare Taken from: "Peace on Earth"
3. WB: Carl Stalling's music as the MM Theme song from late '37 Taken from: "The Woods are Full of Cuckoos" and "Speaking of the Weather"

More to Remember:
4. WB: Carl Stalling's music as the MM Theme song from '40 Taken from: "Hamateur Night"
5. Paramount: A.A.P. '50s logo before the strip doors for Popeye Taken from: "I Like Babies and Infinks" and "Poopdeck Pappy"
