You have to trigger the checkpoint on the bridge while the boulder is rolling down. However, you can't avoid triggering it before triggering the boulder, and you will have to use the fly tool or the fly glitch to go further into the level and activate another checkpoint, then come back, trigger the boulder, then the bridge checkpoint again.

You have to trigger a checkpoint while the boulder is rolling down. Then kill Lara, and the boulder will be standing still on the spot it was on at the moment you triggered the checkpoint.

However, the only checkpoint you will have the time to run to is the one in the same room, but it's the one you last triggered, which means you can't trigger it again! You will either need to use the fly glitch or fly tool to go futher into the level and trigger another checkpoint first.
