  • love this toon, always have...

  • This little squirrel...

  • 90s was the only decade that I have lived through where you didn't have to act like an asshole to be cool.

  • Loved 'Star' - one of my favourite albums of the 90s.

Been listening to an album by 'The Joy Formidable' and it reminds me so much of Belly. So hard to find good music nowadays, must be gettin' old :D

  • I love reading comments that talk about songs bringing back memories, but for a lot of people that is the case, but for me I'm just making the memories, and in 10/20 years time when I hear this, then it'll "take me back" and it just makes me smile that a song can just grace over the generations like this one does :)

  • Damn I miss my high school days!! Memories!!

  • Is it just me or does Tanya Donelly look like the character Jane from Dharma & Greg? xP Incredible song

  • i think i want this song played when it's my turn to feed the tree : )

  • Tanya presently disreps

  • Happy Birthday!!! Tanya Donelly~~~!!!!

  • Ah, high school! Good times!

  • 90's was the greatest era of music... grunge... prog metal... to think that one-hit-wonders in the 90's that were written off as throwaways, are actually this good... compared to today's music, just wow

  • Get a life we r in the 2011

  • reminds me of good times. GREAT BAND!

  • Tanya looks great no matter what, but as a redhead she is absolutely dazzling...

  • i dig that it's totally a bootleg copy on youtube, fight the system, lol

  • I like her voice , but not many other female vocalists.

    Tanya Rocks!

  • great voice and song!!

  • Makes me smile HUGE :)

  • One of my most favourite Belly songs - great to dance and to sing with the band - evergreen!

  • Man I miss the bands like the "Belly's" that played their own instraments, knew how to sing and write songs. Melodies, in time bass lines, guitar progressions, and timely drum beats. Today? Mily lol, or the Jonas Bros...lol poor younger gen has to endure these hacks who have no musical talent. Not to mention Rap which is musically the equal to what porn is too motion pictures. I mean if all you knew was rap and never knew artists actually studied and mastered music u would be left with J Shore.

  • @nel21410mt Ummm, why don't you listen to indie music?

  • @RustlingRagazza With my own music I just keep it to myself and friends. lol I am not real good.

  • love the quality...

  • Can someone post her version of the Stones' " Wild Horses," please? I thought it was exceptionally nice.

  • @mreunome the version of "Wild Horses" you mention is The Sundays. Same period, different band

  • @bickeltom1 Hey, thanks, you're right! Forgot all about The Sundays!

  • Classic, baby.

  • Great that you have the original video (official video not viewable in the UK) but why not get some video software, crop it left and right and dub the original song over it? Just a suggestion!

  • methinks you may be right, =)

  • i miss the 90s

  • cool song,i bought their album just because of this song.

  • i like

  • great song, an all time favourite

  • I love how this video was recorded, reminds me of when you had to wait around to tape a video

  • I love this song, since...... many years ago.......... A great tune and indie air.

  • Tanya Donnelly is only 5 feet tall but every inch of her is incredibly sexy.

  • I dont know why.....but love this song

  • I 't knowy..t oveisong

  • I know all this and more............

  • a great funeral song.

  • @ rabbitpi methinks the same thing!

  • The hell with all of you...this was a cool band! Before all the indie bands started their own star trips, bands like Belly made good music.

  • this was my fucking jam in high school!!!

  • @turkaderr you mean to say you reached high school?

  • @lucidprogrockdreams That's not the way they made it. Youtube used to have a better quality video but it was removed. This looks like it was recorded off a TV.

  • Cranberries would have done good with this.

  • Beavis and Butthead didn't give these guys a very rave review lol. This is a good song though

  • @Josh218512 yeah if like a tree fell on these guys, would anyone give a crap heheh

  • @krillin876 Beavis and Butthead said the same exact thing in an episode, lol.

  • @chessimprov2 Oh whoops, you guys already said that below, oh well.

  • Gawd this woman doesn't want much does she? Methinks she has a rather high opinion of herself and needs to get a life.

  • It's people who use the word 'methinks' that have high opinions of themselves ;)

  • Bloody cheek!

  • heh sorry :D all in good fun ;)

  • Methinks you are right.

  • @rabbitpi

I don't think I'm anything special yet I often use the word 'methinks' simply because I think it sounds funny and cool. =P

  • @rabbitpi methinks i am great!!!!! U WERE RIGHT! :)

  • I Like the in-a-can effect. It's coo. Really goes with it.

  • Great song...but the audio here sounds like it was recorded in a can. What happened?

  • thank you.

  • it's all good.

  • I love Belly as well, but I think swca92 is joking. He or she has to be, right? I'm giving the benefit of the doubt and assuming it was a joke and not simple absurdity.

  • I was making a general comment, I prefer this to Monster or New Adventures in Hi-Fi, though not to R.E.M's earlier albums when they were at their best. About Kristin her voice is growing on me, though it still annoys me sometimes.

  • I love Belly a few times, I like them rather well BUT they are NO REM. REM is rock -POP GODS,,,,,,

  • Damn this band is good...I've realised how Kristen's voice puts me off the Throwing Muses, cos Belly's stuff is the best American stuff of the mid 90's, better than R.E.M or whatever

  • I forgot this and Gepetto even existed. Thanks for bringing back a great song!

  • I just realized this now....Tanya Donnelly looks like Cheryl David!!

  • wow havent heard this song in a long time. thanks for the post!

  • I LOVED this album.

  • Singing chicks + guitars= HEAVEN

  • This record and King are total classics.

  • too bad about the recording.

    this is an incredible album.

  • take your hat boy when your talking to me.

    I've always loved that line!

  • I always thought this song was about dying? anyone, Bueller.......?

  • Yeah, it's about that. In an interview, I heard Tanya Donelly explaining that the expression 'feeding the tree' meant something a little more civilized than 'pushing up the daisys.'

  • Sorry, but the video quality S.U.C.K.S. I will not apologize for pointing that out. I have the song in my iPod ... my point is, it's almost better not to post a video than to post such a low-quality video.

  • Excellent song. Miss 90s rock.

  • big crush on Tanya Donnelly.

  • Yeah this is such an amazing song.

Just listen to the lyrics and it spells poetry. rofl

  • Thanks for putting this up! baq2cali can just stay in Cali if he doesn't like it.

  • at 2;12 and 2;13 i just melt

  • You can get this on a various artists DVD put out by Rhino. Don't ask me the name of it - I have it but I'd have to look for it in my collection, which is currently a mess.

  • Is this the same song (minus the vocals) that is played on TNT during the NBA playoffs for the Cadillac Escalade? It sure sounds like it and I have been trying to track that song down. Anyone...????

  • Fuck TNT and the NBA they stole this song!! Nah just kidding. :)

  • beautiful! Thanks for putting up this video-great song.
