  • I have a bootleg from the Australian VHS release which is fullframe (4:3) but is there any widescreen release of this movie on any DVD worldwide? I know it's still not available in the USA.

  • ...but how did they get a screwdriver that was that big????

  • I will say this it at least looks better than anything bone by Michael Bay

  • is the message SCREW THE WORLD?

  • this guy has a nude scene...please DVD now!

  • that singer...doesn't he own a shirt? is he gay? such a shame oscar winner and premiere actress jennifer jones was in this trash! oh, jennifer!

  • I used to watch these kind of things on late night TV as a kid in the 70s. No wonder I'm nuts. It goes beyond acid surely? It's as if the whole script-writing community went insane for a couple of years. Don't get me wrong, I'm very liberal but these things were almost mentally deranged. :-)

  • SUCKS !!!

  • My God! How could Jennifer Jones appear in this shit?

  • @loverofoldtimes hollywood was in its transition period moving toward psychedellic films. so she had no choice if she wanted to work. hollywood is always shifting between sanity and insanity.

  • @22centman36 At least I must recognize that she still looks attractive at 50

  • @loverofoldtimes man, thats hollywood, you begin with bit parts in shit, then rise to have a stellar career, then people dont want to give you jobs so you end up doing psychedellic movies. Remember it was the studio system back then so you kind of went where people told you to go.

  • Is this riffing on Wild In The Streets?

  • I'm eating junk and watching rubbish!

  • put it at 119 and keep starting it over and over, quicker and quiker! It;s hilarious!

  • Holly Near OMG!

  • If you need any more evidence of the strange upheavals that Hollywood was going through in this period, look no farther than the once-classy Jennifer Jones appearing in this trashy nonsense. Looks like all the other misguided attempts to be "relevant" by confused producers who couldn't figure out how to attract those darn kids who just weren't responding to the formulas that used to work.

  • @hebneh lmfao Think this movie was shown on an early Saturday morning on TCM. If any of you all are familar with the late Friday night cult movie thing they use to do.

No doubt this was trash. But considering this film was made in the last days of the "swinging sixties", I guess even a classy actress like Jennifer Jones wanted in on a little bit of that action.

  • Ive been untouched by human hands. SLAP

  • Was Jennifer Jones out of her mind ????

  • The song in this movie is kind of cool. Come on terintino Bring bogart back.

  • one of the weirdest movies ive ever seen, and it didnt make sense at all either, and Jennifer Jones!?!? a golden era classy actress in this trashy movie!?!? NO WAY! I was SHOCKED!

  • @niceguy045 nice guy, the name of the game in hollywood is to get in, make your money, grab a little fame and then get out. Those people who stick around (no matter how famous of classy) usually end up eventually making trashy films. Hollywood goes through phases wherte movies like "Legends of the fall" are made" but now , 15 years later, we have "STep UP in 3D". Those who get addicted to the fame and easy money usually end up selling their souls.

  • @niceguy045 Damn!! that chick at 1:18 got the shiznit slapped outta her.

  • That's Holly Near folks before she was!!!!!!

  • Actually the guy singing kind of sounds like Alice Cooper more then Jim Morison

  • Comment removed

  • Couldn't for the life of me think of who the song in this trailer reminded me of till I read your post. Big Alice fan here.

  • Hey how did they make a movie about my teen years an not tell me? Wheres my attorney....!!!!!

  • Shame this wasn't M-G-M. Some of these excerpts would have fit perfectly into "That's Entertainment".

  • just because he's wearing leather pants doesnt mean he's supposed to be Jim Morrison

  • Hollywood was trying so hard to be as naughty as Jim Morrison.

And all the time Jim Morrison was running away from Lou Reed as fast as his little fat legs would carry him.

  • whats ironic is that jim morrison was makign fun of hollywood the entire time. On one side, Hollywood has all this power over peoples minds, On another side, Hollywood tries to destroy everything. Morrison though the whole concept of celebrity was rediculous, yet he revelled in it.

  • @22centuryman36 Is it my imagination,or did Kelso make a movie?

  • Is he supposed to be Jim Morrison?

  • Awesome, love your videos, big horror/exploitation movie fan, appreciate it.

  • Jennifer Jones, Lou Rawls and Roddy McDowall -- how awant garde! Once in a while AMC will show these movies...the tamer ones..there's one with Elizabeth Montgomery called Johnny Dark it's wild!

  • I think you're thinking of "Johnny Cool", not "Dark". I saw it once on TV around Christmas 1973 and I still think of it from time to time.

  • "OK kid, pitch me this movie of yours."

"Well, the main character is named Bogart Peter Stuyvesant..."

"STOP RIGHT THERE! WHERE IS MY CHECKBOOK?!"

  • Haha!

  • hahaha yeah, I was trippin on that name too. man.

  • holy fuck lou rawls and roddy mcdowell/ sick!!!!!!!! damn where was i at?

  • Men, this is a must. I will find this thing somehow.

  • Jennifer Jones in a grindhouse film. How the mighty have fallen!

  • LOL!

'Tis true. Not one of Ms. Jones's finest moments. But even with the dreadful material, from what little I saw, she delivered her lines like a true pro - a real star!

Honestly...*whispers* I'm glad times like these (late 60s) are over!

  • does anybody know where I CAN FIND THIS MOVIE????????????????

  • If you want a copy of this film then google The Video Beat. It's the best of the best DVD store on the web! Heaps of rare, cult and groovy films. BTW I don't work for them, just order stuff from them :-). Rock on!

  • Edgy, Beautiful Oscar Winner Jennifer Jones as big a movie star as there was in the 40's and 50's stars in this AIP film. Jennifer one assumes wanted to try something different and had Roddy McDowell a close friend involved in this film, and had

stalwarts Sydney Guillaroff due her Hair and Perc Westmore her makeup. What was forgotten was a need for a Script. Thankfully Jennifer's reputation did not take too big a hit as AIP simply shelved this film and got limited distribution.

  • Groovy score...

  • Who performed the title track in this movie?

  • I love dis movie!!!!

  • jennifer jones down on her luck, in an aip movie, way jane russel stuck in a billy jack aip movie; comidian sam kinneson, after he split up with ,jessica hahn, who was involved with 700 club scandal prior, joked on tv how she should go do a roger corman movie, instead of bad-mouthing him, sam, for publicity.

  • It was fun to watch more than 30 years ago and it still seems fun to watch.

    This should be on emule.

  • One of the greatest trailers of all time. Wish the movie was as good!

  • I just saw this movie yesterday. Trippy.

  • That cast is unbelievable

also it seemed from the first couple of seconds or so that the guy shaved his armpits

  • so what? but I think he doesn't have much hair. what a shame.

  • cool soundtrack

  • Wasn't that the title of a Morrissey song?

  • Morrisey was inspired after seeing this one.

  • That guy is hot...

  • Jim Morrison meets Mrs Robinson, maybe? Actress Holly Near later became a feminist singer-songwriter.
