What it comes down to, for me, is that everyone has the right to bodily integrity. Everyone has the right to control who uses, or doesn't use, their body. So a woman has the right to deny use of her body to a fetus, to say otherwise is to turn a woman into something less than a person.

Anyway, about an unborn human not getting a choice when it comes to abortion - unborn humans can't make any choices, and get no say in what happens to them, either way! There is no way to give an UNBORN human any choices, since it is not capable of making any.
No matter what, the pregnant woman MUST make all of the choices.

Currently, others make that choice when someone kills a pregnant mother. It's a double murder legally. While you sound logical, considerations must be given to the fact that there are two living human entities - percon if you will. No one has the right to murder another innocent human life. 1. Fetal homicide laws only exist in a few states and, to my knowledge, these laws make a special exemption for abortion. I do not happen to agree with these laws, but they do ONLY apply when the unborn human is viable (which I believe is considered legally to be six months).
2. You consider unborn humans to be innocent, but this is an opinion. Many others people that something must be capable of guilt before it can be considered innocent, which is why we don't call rocks innocent.

No scientist has declared non-species throughout pregnancy. Therefore, human life can and does apply scientifically. Legality is up for grabs, subject to opinion. Science isn't. Therefore, science has the more honest view.

But being human DOESN'T give someone the right to use another's body against their will. The special right to want to give ONLY to unborn humans.
And science isn't Pro-Life, like you seem to believe it is. Science itself is neutral. However, most Scientists I know are Pro-Choice.

1) You're under no obligation to keep a child you can't afford. Anonymous adoption and open-adoption are both available
and
2) Many organizations and churches offer assistance to people who need supplies and baby sitters.
Actually, it's common for women who had an abortion to have them again, sometimes severa. I read a message, I believe on ivillage, where a woman was on her forth abortion

And, yes, both do cost money to keep alive but the mighty green should never be a reason for killing someone or letting them live. This isn't bloody Soylent Green

Why would it be a burden? Do you have any idea how long waiting lists are for newborn American babies? Not to mention that a lot of people who adopt will want a sibling for their child, so they'll want to adopt at least two times.
In terms of rape, that is what the morning after pill is for. A rape victim takes the pill, at a hospital, to prevents conception. So that isn't really an excuse.

It should have never been a constitutional issue and in the words of Ruth Bader Ginsburg, current supreme court justice and pro-choice supporter '' It (Roe v Wade) was a clear example of heavy handed legislation.'' Personally I think abortion should be legal only in the most popular arguments, rape and endangerment to mothers life. (Incest is almost always rape, so I dont think it really has to be said.

Answer this, how can the irational create the rational? How is my ideology being shoved down our throats? I have been taught the "theory" of evolution all my life. Not once was I taught any other alternative theory. Humanism is depressing and atheism does not hold weight when it comes to logic and it can't account for it.

No one shoved evolution down your throat. It is a scientific theory, with evidence to back it up. Like all scientific theories, when new evidence is found that shows commonly believed aspects of it to be mistaken, the theory of evolution has the ability to be adapted.
You can't honestly expect people to teach your religion as science just because you don't happen to believe in science.

i have heard of many mothers going into a severe state of depression and they were not able to care for their child. the baby was neglected, and some even died. and if they did the child wasnt close to anyone and just had an all around terrible life. would you rather save someone from that suffering they are going to face? or end it before it begins?

i am pro-choice. think about it, if a woman gets raped, she obviously doesnt want her baby. what if she already has a husband? or what if she is in a terrible mental state of depression? (which is possible after being raped) that baby would have a terrible life, and possible neglect from the mother. and even if she did have sex willingly, she was most likely young. we are all only human. and technically a baby isnt a person yet until it is born, it is just a fetus.

Tell us scientist's name who formed a conclusion, accepted by the scientific community, that any species breaks from its species during any stage of pregnancy. Fetus is a stage name. Because science hasn't declared any breaks in species from parent to birth, fetus means human life otherwise.

I'm noticing a lot of responses regarding how a woman shouldn't get an abortion because she needs to deal with the consequences of her actions. I think a lot of people still feel that any woman who has sex is a whore who must be punished for her actions...and pregnancy is punishment.
Why do people keep asking how you would feel if you were aborted? If you were aborted, you wouldn't ever gain the ability to acknowledge being aborted.

Let's see, a fetus doesn't start to develope a nervous system until 10 weeks, most abortions happen before the 11th week. So no, most fetii can't feel pain at the time of most abortions.

Yes - not complete enough - an unborn human's brain starts developing at around 6 weeks, their nerves START developing at 10, and their frontal lobes are fully developed until around 26, which is when most scientists/doctors believe that they are capable of feeling pain.
