I know that many Korean militarymen fought bravely in order to protect their country in 1950-53. They were not cowards.

The fact is comfort are overshadowed by the fact they had gone willingly, when they were captured and taken by force. Many women did try to save not only their daughters, but their entire family and died because of it. And let's not forget that Japan hides much of this history, so many people don't even believe comfort women existed.

Suspicion for whether it occurred or not? There may not be as many official documented proof available to the public and such, but I feel like these women's testimonies are proof that enough that this sort of ordeal did occur. It's not just Korean comfort women coming out and speaking, but the comfort women taken from other nationalities as well. We even have ex-soldiers starting to speak about it, too. I'm hoping for some kind of resolution in the near future for these women.
