If this was of no help to some to you I will suggest you to give a look at the Cam Caddie Scorpion. $38 and it's improved every shot I've taken since receiving it.

Keep working at it. To be honest, this doesn't look much better than what I can do walking around with my conumer camera and anti-shake feature.
