@dcoxts Se llama quickshifter, sirve para meter los cambios mucho mas rapido ya que no se usa el clutch, lo que hace es relajar la transmision cortando ignicion o combustible para que te pueda meter sin usar el embrague.

@ALLFORYOUGOD La moto en seco pesa aprox 190 kg, mantenimiento no es muy costoso y es muy sencillo de hacer sin nescesidad de llevarla a Yamaha.

You said the 16T front sprocket increase the top speed, did you do the same test with the 17T?

@War10ck1004 Yes, at 8400 ft elevation with stock gearing the top speed was lower. I did not try it at sea level.

?! How do u change gears so quick without closing your throttle?

@kny4eva You just bang into the next gear without using the clutch or letting off the throttle. If you're in a high enough gear, it won't pop the front end up. It's not that great for your tranny though so you shouldn't make it a habit of doing this all the time if it's a bike you intend to keep for a real long time.

@kny4eva Its called a quick shifter what it does is cuts ignition or fuel to relax the tranny so you can up shift without clutch and it does not hurt anything

@rixxtown Una cosa que debe saber es si remueve el escape original asi sea solo la punta por un slip-on la EXUP se va con el escape original, el resto es solo el PowerCommander V con quick shifter el cual insisto es necesario si le pone el escape completo.

@rixxtown Si el escape completo ayuda mucho pero solo si lo pone con un PowerCommander, solo no hace mucho, si se decide a quitarle el escape original yo vendo los eliminadores del EXUP. me avisa y espero verlo pronto por aca!

I have a FZ1.. Im Colombian but I live in the States.. I got my FZ1 up to 160MPH twice.. I can't wait to go to Colombia and ride one of my friends' bikes. I got a ticket once at 103MPH on a 55.. not fun at all. Just be careful, wear your gear all the time!

@elpaisitabest Hola, es debido a que tengo instalado un PowerCommander V con QuickShifter lo que hace esto es tomar la señal de un sensor instalado en el pedal de cambios y cada vez que uno sube el cambio corta por un instante la ignicion o los injectores de combustible asi relajando la transmisión y metiendo el cambio sin desacelerar, la velocidad final indicada en gps fue de 248 km/h. Espero algun dia pueda tener esta moto o una mejor, saludos !

I just got done on my FZ-1n for 137km/h in a 100km/h zone and I lost 8 demerits (out of 12) and was fined $647.

I'm still reeling from it. I wasn't even trying to speed, it's just so easy with this bike. I think I need to downgrade. But yeah, the Aussie road rules are severe.

I dont believe 248 km/h is the top speed, i ownd one myself and clocked 240 km/h in 4th gear, and one time clocked 280 km/h had to slow down because couldn`t keep on with the air pushing me back,it felt like the air density was trying to pull the helmet off my head as much as i tried to lower the head.

@tramagacity Yes, sorry you dont like to hear it but it is the true top speed, i have another video indicating 280+ but that is just speedo error, try it for yourself get a GPS and make a speed run. But don't get dissapointed every bike has a speedo error.

@ivan3x5 Gracias, aca en bogota no logro mas velocidad no por trafico sino por la densidad del aire, aunque ya estaba cerca del limitador nunca lo alcance, tal vez al nivel del mar logre 5 o 6 km mas.

Yes suspension was set to very stiff thats the only way i feel safe at those speeds, personal opinion there.
