  • Andrew looks high as fuck

  • Too Much Talking, We Get It, How About a Small Demonstration!!!

  • @theeoneandonly3nasty take a look at the MV8800 overview video and pay close attention at 5:24 in THE MV8800 VIDEO not this video.

  • the 5000 is great but its big and heavy. i travel a lot and the mpc 1000 is perfect for that.

  • FL = Fukin Lol

  • stfu!

  • mv dont have synth and for that is dead 4 me

  • @theoneandonly3nasty your wrong homie. The MV-8800 & MV-8000 has synths.

  • Any UKHH fans come check the new tracks up on my page.

    Heavy bars.

    Safe

    Staffy

  • And the MPC5000 is Akais answer to the MV-8800. I own the MV-8800 and the 4000. The MV blows the doors off the MPC4000. I never had a chance to play with a 5000 so I cant tell you if thats better or not. BUT if the 5000 has the same issues (Screen and pad probs) then the MV will still be better.

  • i dunno what to get guys? which is more better and more Stable? an Mpc 4000? or Mpc 5000?

and i know this is a mad question but turning it on, how easy is it to get makin a beat?

cos ive used the 500 and i sent it back took me like 4 hours to assign a snare to 1 pad and i cudnt see the screeen, so advice on them 2 things would be great thanks! ?

  • 500 is a toy.... 4000 is better than 5k.

  • At the age of 41 and had ALL Mpc's from 60 to 60 MK2 a 2000 and a 3000 you are perfectly right none of the mentioned come close to a 4000, it's insane, the 5000 is nukai not Akai!!

  • agreed. do u have a 1000? i got a question about it

  • Yep I have a 1000 also

  • if you had that much trouble with the 500, you won't do very well on the 4000 or 5000. they are much more advanced. put the time in to read the manual. you have to be mad patient

  • who will use the 64/3 t.c

  • sp1200 Slipknot sucks.

  • korg nano kit.

    mac book

logic pro. (or bootcamp windows with fl studio)

    ............no need to explain right?

  • lol fl studio cmon

  • tell that to 9th wonder you bitch

  • lol. fl aint shit to me.... i got friends who r killin it but im ol fashioned. mpc 4 me

  • i aint say nuttin bout FL

  • hey guys, do you prefer this, or ableton + a mac

    sorry for my ignorance

  • ableton and a mac if u cant afford this

  • a mac is damn near the same price as this thing and even more if you buy Ableton. I say get a MPC even you buy an older one like a 2000

  • u better watch how you talk to your father lil kid..no one is saying you gotta buy a mac and ableton..obviously the kid has a computer all he needs is ableton ,pro tools or reason. no one cares what you say cuz you use Fruity loops and your beats sound like 2 year olds made them.

  • hey man i was wondering if a mv 8800 is better or is akai mpc 5000 betta thanks man

  • It depends on what you wanna do.

  • mv is way better than 5000.... if u cant afford 8800 go wit 8000 - the only difference is the color screen. i got an mpc 1k but my friends use those mv's....nasty machines man... RZA got one too lol

  • @blaqoutmusic I have an mv8800, fantom s, tascam 1884,and krk rokit 5s for sale. cheaper than ebay. If anyone is serious, send me a message.

  • damn dude. Most important rule of production... It isnt what you use, its how you use what you have. You can have a million dollar setup but if you suck.... that million was wasted. Some of the best beatmakers I know use FL.

  • yea just like how i can make a better beat than you with a stick and a garbage can JK BUT FOR REAL checkmy stats before you try to school me cuz i does this!. I wasn't knockin FL.. i was replyin to the kid who hated on my comment..who was a fag who made shit beats with FL...i started with FL..and still have it in the Lab..but i got love fore it!

  • tru... not it's sequence memory though... nothing beats the 4000 and 2000XL on that

  • I sold mine and got an MPC 2000 again, because of the fatter sound. Less features, of course, but at the end of the day the sound is what matters in this game.

  • at 1:30 he lied, it doesnt have all the features of the 4000, guys dont buy this machine

  • horrible...stick with the 4000...

  • Damn Right, this thing is a disgrace...what he doesnt say is what it lacks lol The 4000 was the last great MPC made, can't wait to see the new Linn Drum kick Akai's ass

  • with the new os 2.0 update this thing is awesome, fat synth to got mine last week

  • i GOT IT..........YEP......ITS THE SHIT. ITS LITTLE BROTHERS ARE NICE BUT 5 STACKS IS NICER. FUCK ANYTHING LESS.

  • bottom line. if you make bad beats on the MPC60, the MPC1000, or the MPC2500, then most likely you'll make bad beats on the 5000 no matter what "new" features it has.

  • umm actually dude not everyone does use electric sounds these days, some people are actually trying to keep the old school sounds alive!!!! instead of having every song sounding the same!!!!!!!!!

  • @motboy2 BOOM thass what im talkin about my friend! you repost this cause i agree.

  • was labbert der da für ne kacke

  • What a BEAST... the 60 was Bruce Banner... this is the HULK!!!

  • and its an 8 track analog recorder........where do you load the tape in? He forgot to mention another difference between the 4000 and this...lack of multisampling.

  • wtf is that cunt talking about evry1 using electronic sounds... fuck the sythesizer on the 5000..............2500 all the way

  • mpc 2500!!!!! fuck the 5000

  • I have one for sale...for 1,000 in case you know anyone that wants one

  • hey man did you still have that mpc for 1,000 still if so i would be intrested in buying it thank you.

  • wtf is this guy talking about

  • LOL! I agree.... f*ck the 5000, I still use the MPC 60.

  • MPC 1000 with JJOS 2 and a MOTIF ES Rack is a better investment

  • lol what I was trying to say is the update is up on akaipro!!!!

  • The MPC-5000 ships with 52 known bugs. At least 3 of them will crash the machine. An update is available but the customer is not informed of this or that the machine will be useless when they buy it for $2500.

  • Yeah thats not good at all...But the update in up on akaipro and it fixes all 52 bugs....

  • HOW DID YOU KNOW THIS>?

  • Is the synth 24-bit 96khz when in 96khz mode or did they drop that whole Professional thing, going from Akai to Akai Professional and back to just Akai again?

  • Please does the MPC 5000 have a +48 V phantom power supply so it can support the Behringer B-2 pro microphone ?

  • They wanted to make somthing to compete with the mv8800

  • absolutely!!

  • nice monitors!

  • Overkill!!!

  • HAHAHA @ STUPID MOTHERFUCKER NOT KNOWING WHAT TO SAY WHEN ASKED ABOUT THE DIFFERENCES FROM THE 4000 PLUS. He changes the subject to the synth (which the loser already said once) and lies about the 5000 having all the features of the 4000. Shit makes me sick.

  • you guys are missing some MAJOR points... I've been dreaming of the day when you could group tracks and use a mute function for an entire group of tracks at the same time on the MPC. I also like to keep the beat going while i audition sounds without stopping the beat. Not to mention being able to automate the fx, tracks, mutes..AND I CAN NOW FINALLY MIX ON A SET OF MIXER TRACKS WITHOUT HAVING TO FIND THE DAMN PAD SOUND!!! THE MORE I WATCH THIS THE BETTER IT GETS!!!

  • the built in synth is weedy and crap sounding. it sounds more like a cheesy budget softsynth, they should stick to what they do best instead of asking people to pay for a bad attempt at a synth when we really just want a sampler!!

  • nothing new same mpc

  • I got a 2000xl but I think Imma upgrade to this.

  • just get bfd guru and akaimpd24 and call it a day and save $4500

  • hah,so true

  • What's "bfd guru" ??

  • its software thats like a virtual mpc, that lets you chop up samples add effects and a sequencer. goto sweetwater or pssl they should have it.

  • Is the MV8800 any different from the MPC5000. Maybe Roland should try tossing all features of the new Fantom G inside the MV line including the screen then maybe they would pull me from my laptop.

  • MV 8800 NO Competitions!!!!

  • The Mp 4000 will kill any MV,sh!t any MP really the MV has some cool features but the most important thing which iz the groove, hands down goes to the MP and they all have a great feeling groove...

  • He Lies in this guys face at 1:30 it

doesn't have "All the same features that the 4000 has" In this day in age how can you upgrade in specs and downgrade the RAM...lol....just to name 1 difference

  • There's a hard drive built-in for streaming audio.

  • IF your new in the GROOVE BOXES.. Get a Roland MV-8800 or The AKAI MPC-2500 still....cause these both Machine are still industry standard to this date, and were in 2008 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • AKAI !!! The ROLAND MV-8800 still is Putting the presure on AKAI... Sorry its looks nice but its a DUNCE at this point with people using there GROOVE BOXES with there LAPTOP..... AKAI get with the PROGRAM... the MPC-5000 Should of come out in 2002. This unit way to late to come out. I still think also for the price the AKAI MPC-2500 is still good.

  • Looks alot like my Roland MC-909 and the Roland MC-909 can handle its RAM MAX like 256MB... Then the AKAI MPC-5000 MAX in RAM is 192MB.....PLUS THE ARP AND SYNTH in the MC-909 ARE STILL GREAT. I chk the INFO on the AKIA MPC-5000... its just a CUT DOWN version of there BIGER BAD BOY AKAI MPC-4000 Plus....and its MAX RAM is 512MB.... ROLAND DID THE SAME CRAP with there GROOVE BOX MC-808, Which is a CUT DOWN VERSION of the ROLAND MC-909

  • f####g hell-big surprise
