Galina Panova was my teacher and she was still an incredible dancer even older and out of shape. It's amazing to see what she was like when she was still performing.

@Qbendanny very sad to see such dancers doing this,saw them in 1979,despite 41 years and out of form due all the problems they had valery was still a good dancer,in his youth must has been terrific.

Thank you so much for posting this video! Galina taught me at university and told me of this performance. She said the stage was like a mirror and she had pointe shoes that were like a rubber material. What a delight to see her perform.

@wendygisclair do you know how long ago did they perform this?l saw the panovs live in 1979 in london,thei were no longer at theyr best but still great dancers.
