  • heavy yes. my thoughts on the outriggers are to build my own with a home design i've seen using pvc, 2 litres and some fittings. just got shoulder surgery so i should be able to handle the weight of the eagle

  • Thanks for the reply....I looked up the Stream Eagle, lots of great reviews however it seems to be one heavy boat...I like the Sit on Top though...They are hard to overturn...I also saw a neat Kayak by Freedom Hawk that has outriggers that expand, and it can be taken apart to make it lighter, you can actually stand in that one....very nice boat....I live in the Shepherdsville area, maybe I will see you out boating one day...Take care

  • Loved the vid...very soothing to hear the water...wondering what kind of Kayak you are piloting???

  • @ypoons89

It's a Pelican Potomac 100. Pretty inexpensive from Dicks Sporting Goods 3 years ago - has served me well. Just got a Field and Stream Eagle Talon 12 SOT anglers kayak and looking forward to a totally different experience with it.

  • This was my first kayak video. I can get a feel for some things to improve on. If any others out there with experience in this area want to give me their thoughts I'd really appreciate it.
