  • Thank you for sharing!

I'm a Paramedic student as well as a transwoman. Although I will not have to "come out" to my fellow 'medics, as I am living full time as a woman, it is reassuring that you seem to have had positive responses from your coworkers.

Personally, I think it's a little disappointing that your story is the only trans related one in the book because this could mean that other men and women are afraid of the exposure.

  • @Estrodile- Most LGBT outreach programs have a hard time finding transgender people willing to come forward. So many in the trans-community don't want to rock the boat and live stealth. There is no problem with that at all but at the same time, a few must stand up and show our faces. I assure you, the other stories in the book are very inspiring as well. Thank you for the supportive words and please check out the book, I think you will find it interesting!!!!

  • Great little video. Congrats on being transgendered and proud!! I am so glad that you included the web site address so I can go and try to find the book. mtf Paramedic myself. :)

  • that's awesome! congratulations and thank you for your contribution towards equality!
