  • 0:35 around that time. HIS BIS IS 23???? THIS IS NOT REAL, or the machine is IN DIER NEED OF BIOMEDICAL ENGINEERING. VERY VERY unrealistic. If it was THAT LOW, he'd already be LITERARLY ALMOST BRAIN DEAD. BIS of 100 is FULLY CONCIOUS. BIS OF 0 BRAIN DEAD.

  • I've heard that with this medication you actually have dreams, is that true?

  • @JJJUBFFS not only does propofol give dreams, but statistically has been shown that they are usually erotic dreams ;) personally i don't remember any dreams, but it does give a rather nice feeling during those few seconds between pushing the plunger and falling asleep

  • never let a nurse administer propofol to you..it's an induction anesthetic.. nurses (CRNA) should not administer this drug unless an anesthesiologist is supervisiong......many patients have long-term brain damage from crna administered profole..and it's not obvious until they get home............

  • I have been in alot of surgeries with a lot of drugs. I do not trust this drug because of the cause of not breathing. I do not trust anyone breathing for me. I also dont trust these heavy narcotics because some can paralyze you and you are still fully conscious.

  • @KosukiFire: Propofol is an anaesthetic drug, you are not fully conscious, in fact you are fully UNconscious, in certain plasma concentrations. Muscle relaxants paralyse you. They are used in combination for certain surgeries. Surgeons request it. Please don't try to be an authority on things you clearly don't understand. People like me train for years to do this job. We know how to ventilate patients that can't breathe. We can save lives that way. You should learn to be more trusting.

  • @KosukiFire In virtually every surgery someone is breathing for you, if a paralytic drug was not used you might fight the surgery and kill yourself. During surgery you are knocked out, paralyzed, and basically numbed up completly.
