I sold a ton of my old toys, some were rare. Like webkinz and my club penguin toys. I also tried REALLY hard to get A+'s in my classes, because I get paid for my good grades. I've earned over $250.00 so far and I'm planning on donating it to some organization for animals at the animal shelter or something. I was going to buy clothes but then I thought for a second while I was watching your videos and it changed my mind. I think my new idea is better. I love animals and I want to help them!

Great program, but doesn't get to the core of the problem which is the neglectful OWNERS. What happens when the house gets old and falls apart-do you think they will get a new one? Doesn't cure the dogs being totally neglected. i LOVE peta, but wish the campaign instead focused on getting these animals away from their useless owners.

You never just abandon a pet if you can't take care of it put him/her up for adoption. Leaving your pet on it's on is sick especialy in an urban environment.

My roomie & I do small animal rescue(ferrets, rats mice). It never ceases to amaze(or sicken)me what people do.

Thats like asking for no more nuclear weapons, you cant make ppl be nicer to there animals, thats why they kill them because alot of animals go through abuse way more than humans do and they are usally not regarded as important because they are not humans. It sad because these species rely and trust us so much.

the issue here is to STOP CRUELTY, giving animals "ethical treatment" can go hand in hand with helping people and everything else. we shouldn't be so narrow minded about it. we can do both at the same time and more. thinking like that is what makes everything advance so much slower.

In this country alone there are far more animals being abused than humans,the point I'm making is animals cannot apply for for help as humans can,they cannot go to a shelter and ask to be put up for the night as a human can,and regarding animal testing,there ARE OTHER ALTERNATIVES,there is no excuse or need for animal testing and they not only test for cures but also for fashion such as makeup,body lotion etc,test on those that are on death row cua they wil die anyway!

You know I've never been a big fan of PETA. Too much eco-terrorism and throwing blood on celebrities wearing fur. This is goof though - contructive and thought provoking. Much more likely to respond to something like this than someone demanding the owners be drawn and quartered then incarcerated.

Onya PETA! Through all the information I have learned through your organisation, I have been a vegetarian for 3 years, I don't buy any leather, fur or wool and I have convinced my family to go vegetarian and to adopt a dog instead of buying one when we get a new dog :D Thanks again PETA!

you know living in LA I see all these posh hotels for dogs and not to judge, but it blows my mind how people can be so insecure about themselves that they spend outrageous money giving their pet dogs expensive luxurious spa treatments when there are homeless and abused dogs that don't even have a shelter or get a regular wash? It'd be awesome to see a campaign that could address this topic of uncanny human behavior and maybe help influence the rich pockets to helping the poor poochies eh

Hopefully, with PETA's example, the "owners" have learned some common sense and responsibility, which they clearly lacked beforehand, and they will give their dogs a better life.

Sadly, a chained and lonely life is the reality for many dogs in many countries around the world, and most don't get the kind of help seen here.
