SRT8 is not supercharged. It is normally aspirated however it is probably 800+ pounds heavier than the EVO. Still a fun to watch run.

@Tical5 thanks for that however; Naturally and Normally aspirated are the same thing. Since the "normal" way for an engine to get air into it's cylinders is "NORMALLY" done by the vacuum created by the pistons downward travel with the intake valve open. It's safe to say either word you use will suffice. I think since it took over a year for someone to prefer Naturally over Normally; everyone knows what I'm saying. Actually youre completely wrong. You cant launch an evo the way you can full torque launch a jeep. thats why the jeep beat the evo of the line. you must know nothing about either cars.

wow, if anything the evo should've jumped on the jeep. the awd system on the evo is usually the reason the evo will beat most in drag. i have one and no car has ever got a jump on me that wasn't an sti or another evo

Well then you clearly havent raced an srt8. they jump harder than most awd cars. and i know for a fact that off the line sti's and srt8's launch harder that evos also so i have no idea what youre talking about. evos have an active differential which means while the computer is busy figuring out where to transfer torque youre losing seconds. great for corners but not launch. fixed differentials will launch harder time for time like and srt8 and sti have. do some research or actually drive one bro
