@miriamxx4eva i assume that your not Australian. Saying "Mr Speaker" all the time is part of the etiquette of the Australian Parliament. Your directing your comments to the speaker of the house as a sign that the "house" is a representative of the "people's representatives".......at least in theory.
The question is the motion moved by the Leader of the House be agreed to, all those of that opinion say aye. all: aye. contrary, no. (silence). I think the aye's have it.
Take a good look at the Labor Government from 2007-2011.
Home Insulation has been scrapped.
Cash for crappy cars has been scrapped.
The Nationalisation of hospitals has been scrapped.
Mining Tax Scrapped.
The flood of illegal immigrants - nothing done.
This Labor Government has done VERY LITTLE! You can't get all defensive when you true 'red' blind Labor voters realise that your Government AT THIS MOMENT is a complete joke.
haha the funniest comments are from you uneducated twats who think that Gillard is better than Krudd... They're the face for their party, nothing more! Labor realised YET AGAIN that they were fucking up the country and tried a cheap trick by switching the front man (woman) to regian the publics confidence. Than ½ of you think that they must be good again o.O Ask any economist and they will laugh at the idea that Australia was facing a recession... the stimulus was unnecessary and costs us in tax
@Roadrunnerz45 hopfully it'll bring some relief to the labor party she sounded alot more serious then rudd just have to see how she performs next few mouths but ether way if abbott wins pm i can see our jobs and lifestyle could be under jeopardy for sure
@Melvisly Correct, though it's all strategic. Note that hockey didn't put his hand up when the seat went up not long ago. Hockey will be the liberal leader in a few years time, and he will dominate.
@IrateGamingZealot I find it bizarre that the government hasn't announced a health policy and the world isn't howling about it. We have no details about what are own government is doing. So others may focus on what the opposition is promising .. how about what is the government doing? The reason we don't know, among others, is because the speaker of the house is obscuring debate.
Uh what? The GOVERNMENT doesn't have a health policy? You are aware Abbott is the opposition leader, right? Cos he's the one who's not put forward anything in the way of health policy, not the government.
Seriously, what bizarro backwards world are you living in? Did you even watch the debate yesterday?
@IrateGamingZealot That is right. The government does not have a health policy. They have announced a few items, but no details. They talk about case mix, then talk about block funding. They promise a few more beds, but give no detail as to how this will be achieved. They ask for 30% GST but won't say what they will do with it. They offer no new beds, no new doctors, no new nurses.
@ArachEye What is the government policy? It sounds like they get 30% of GST and don't care about anything else. Opposition policy is well detailed, although they will also release more precise terms as the election draws near. We know they want to get rid of the dud bureaucracy that siphons money from the hospital into pork barrels and spend money on sick people getting well, instead.
fucking arse

Liberal party is a fucking pack of dogs
its so much easier to insult Labour when their not in government because it means nothing, being in government is different.
What's all this shit about "great big new taxes" abbott just takes bullshit potshots at labour, he speaks of policy when he has none himself
all he can do is bitch, he answers no questions
when he's asked wut he's gonna do about certain issues, he answers - not wut they did, but ill do sumthing
hes full of shit
