  • No point of doing 30 stairs if your only going to walk on 10 of them, no offence.

  • nice choice in music

  • i bet your as fast as rock lee from naruto

  • people say that wearing weights adds bulk but

man adding bulk is not that simple. not that simple at all

dude sodont even trip on that.

  • @gwess08 Thanks man. When I do "above body weight" stuff, I keep it on low reps now.

  • i seriously got to get me some light weights and strap them on stuff i wear every day, then, hahaha, i will be training pretty much what ever i do.

  • man u wearing a weight vest and weight arm things right? mannn...

  • not any more though because it adds bulk muscle and that is bad. i only use body resistance now its all around better

  • If your looking for more speed you can avoid adding bulk if you start weight training heavy for about 1-6 reps, it builds power and speed, and doesn't cause muscle to hypertrophy(increase in size). BTW, I just started wearing 10lb ankle weights on each leg.

  • Thanks for that info tenshitaiakuma, I had thought before that training anything above body weight would add bulk. Thanks to you, I now have a better understanding of smarter training :)

  • one rep bravo.

  • y run up stairs when u got elavators? lol

  • i got sum of those ankle weights ..but i put them on my wrists ..& they each weigh like 20 pounds ..but i go to the park ..& work on my puching ..for awhile..lol..

  • I'm sorry but I just wasted my time watching that and I'm far from impressed. so what if you had weights a plastic pole and a vest. You only did it once! do it 50 times with two 32kg Kettlebells and come back then and show me who's the tough guy.

  • you should do that on a stiarmaster

  • Doesn't look like 60 pounds or you just make it look easy... Anyway good job, keep working!

  • Ankle weights are fine, I practice juggling a soccer ball in ankle weights, and enjoy the feeling of taking them off after an hour half workout and doing another hour half without them. Of course I usually fall on my buttt after I take them off because I overextend myself.

If your body adapts or fails, is nobody's business but your own.

    Have fun :D

  • Oh and may I suggest you keep on your toes constantly, it helps absorb the impact.

  • Same goes for keeping knees bent, but I'm sure you probably already know all this.

  • your knees man, your knees. your young anyhow and wont feel it till the later years and youll be saying why didnt i listen to all the good advice. kinda like smokers who get cancer. get a weighted vest instead!

  • like the muzic is from rocky :)

  • its better to have a heavier vest than having ankle and wrist weights. vest are a lot safer than ankle weights, its distributes the weight more evenly and helps balance your core...but i say take of the wrist and ankle weights

  • sweet.

  • u need higher steps and u need to do it more.

also putting weights on u is bad for ur knees.

u dont need a lot of leg strength for ninja warrior anyways but u do need some speed so running up and down stairs with out weights going a lot faster would help u more.

  • would be beter if you walk up down stairs in your house i walked up and down 3 flights of stairs 1 day because it was raining and i wanted to train i counted up and down as 1 and i did 100 times it was good workout

  • do that with a 100lbs bag of sand for 20 or so laps up and down and that'll be a work out

  • youll get a better workout if you hit every stair instead of skipping them

  • agreed, skipping steps is just cheating yourself. and instead of running up them, try vertical jumps up single stairs. :P

  • ya lol much smarter idea instead to fall down break your head and your sensei saying

"No more training for you dunce cap"

  • good bye knees

  • lol xD

  • This was a cool video here. I'm planning on doing 15 flights of stairs with my 40 LBS vest I just purchased today. So wish me luck and I'm training for Army BCT

  • you rule

  • One time up and back, lame, but 1000 times would be the ninja spirit.

  • oh man thats sooooooooooooo tuff fag anyone could do that

  • Sorry dude that was lame as hell.

  • good luck for ninja warrior

  • I think I could do the same but end up light headed when I stop
