you can't fuck with Led Zeppelins legasy. They were great for the EARLY 70's. Jimmy page was a heroin addict after 1975 and it showed. The albums (2) that they put out between 1975 and 1980 are both good but not great. Actually most of the stuff they put out on the 2 albums before Presense were holoutouts from other sessions. They peakek in '73 but thier best recorded album was Physical Graffitti.

What can i say about this? I thought this was going to suck cause of the down tuning of the guitars so Plant could sing but hey. This is fantastic. Only problem i have with this is when the fan boys starts "OMFG ITS ZEPPELIN" No it's not, it's the closest thing we will ever get to Zeppelin but it is not the same without Bonham. It's 3 original members with his son but hey they are still brilliant, i look forward to a world tour.
Robert Plant's voice was shot on this tune. Still, he pulls it off.
The reason I'm replying here is that I've been playing keyboard along with videos here tonight, and this version is in the key of A, as is the other version I played along with, which was from their '73 concert, so I'm not sure there was any down tuning of guitars. What I heard was there were places Plant went up an 8va in the original that this time he kept it low, like you do when you're voice is shot.

So quit your bitchen and get a life and a job. Quit riding on us that work! get a job and enjoy the rare scraps that us working people can get. JPJ still has it... but Page and Plant are not aging so gracefully. Hell that sound system and engineer was prolly the best in the biz. Plant has nodes or paralysis in his vocal folds. I hope they don't tour. Lets remember them for the legends they were.
