The Spinning Dragons was the first rollercoaster I ever got on, and during the ride, I thought to myself, Is this what I'm really suppose to be affraid of? (Because I was affraid of heights, but now I'm not) and when I got off, i was like thats it??! i was BORED!!!! they need to take the Spinning Dragons DOWN!!!!
Don't be so selfish. Amusement parks aren't only for thrill seekers. They combine thrill rides with family attractions. Spinning Dragons is a wonderful family attraction that attracts people of all ages, and they actually love it.
but on that one part where you are verticle i guess is the word. I was looking down. It scared the shit out of me. I am still very new to coasters. THE MAMBA IS SCARY yet fun. Prowler is awesome.
This ride is a begining roller coaster! Its so those people who have never been on a roller coaster before could ride this one, get somewhat used to coasters, then ride the real roller coaster

It wasn't dangerous, it just was not cost effective to keep repairing the track. Also, it only derailed once on the flat curve at the final brake. The brakes engaged and no one was seriously injured. The last two cars derailed, but did not separate from the train as there are redundant security devices in place to keep that from happening.
The Oreint Express was one of the only 2 rollercoasters in the world with intersecting loops! (whitch meant one loop goes through the other!) to bad they removed it :(
It seems like Six Flags St. Louis is just one big ripoff of WOF. This is just like the Tony Hawk's Pro Spin. The Patriot is just like the Batman (they might have had the Batman before the Patriot) but wow, watching these videos, it's pretty much identical.
WOF doesn't think up these rides either, they buy the plans and parts from manufacters in germany, there are probally 80 rides in the U.S. exactly like this one, WOF didn't start it.

Spinning Dragons actually is one of only about 4 coaster of its type (so obviously not 80) Those coasters are Spinning Dragons at WOF Timberline Twister at MOA and Tony Hawk's Big Spin at SFSL and Six Flags Fiesta Texas. Also SFSL is only 2 years older than Worlds of Fun is. (obviously not 20)
Spinning Dragons is one of two of it's kind. The other is in Florida in Disney World, and I've ridden it. Spinning Dragons' track is a lot smaller than the ride in Florida, too.
I agree with u overall but Patriot is a lot smoother than Batman and living in LA i know a lot about batman and sometimes u feel like your brain was snapped off bc of HIGH G-FORCES
The Orient Express was more like replaced by Lore of the Vampire Haunted house. Spinning Dragons basicly replaced the Dolphin Show Arena at WOF and does not sit on any section of where the OE went. It was actually supposed to have been in front of the OE for a year or 2 until Patriot was built, but the OE had some downtime issues because of the age of the track and it would had cost WOF a ton of money to keep it operating those 1-2 years after this ride was built so they decieded to remove it.

When I went on it we acidentaly leveled it out so it did not spin. But it was still fun. It has no leg room at all!
