This isn't what many people think it is. The missing correct text is due to an ASCII error in the notepad.exe file. This "trick" can be done with any combination of words with lengths of "4 3 3 5". Such as: "town two for apple". I do think it is an interesting easter egg with windows and wonder what else Gates slipped in there.

what it does is simply a bug, see if you type in ANY 4-3-3-5 letter words it'll open in some oriental language (as you said)

For instance: try typing in ''four the the fives'' , it'll give the same effect.
