  • @DarkEvil87 then what would the point me, that sounds so stupid

  • @lildecable looks are one thing

  • @lildecable the n64 was a 16-bit consol the psx was a 32-bit very differant grapics

  • @whisperguy115 no the N64 was a 64-bit console...hence the name...N64

  • @MrDeathkiller123 James Bond wouldn't need any gadget if he had the sonic screwdriver. I'd like to see that.

  • Just watched the BF3 Operation Quillotine trailer before this...

I can't wait to see what games will look like in 10 years.

  • god how i loved this game when i was a kid

  • The ps1 and n64 graphics both have their flaws. the n64's graphics have smoother models and textures but the humans seem very blocky on the other hand on the ps1 the textures are very rough looking on the edges but the humans look much more realistic.

  • World is not enought and Tomorrow Never Dies were hell of games... I could play them again anytime...

  • N64 version:

    More levels

    Better multiplayer

Better graphics (with the expansion pack)

  • 3:03 the circle is moonwalking lol

  • I couldnt evang et past the first level on this fucknig game! :/

  • This game was so hard.

  • Good moments snif

  • I can't believe on the movie they've mistaken this version for the N64 version because if you go on the special features it goes PSX Trailer or something, Also is there an OST for THIS version, not the N64 version, I loved this game I've beat renard and it was hard shooting the reactor!

  • @TailsRoberto It was apparently composed by Don Veca, but I don't know if there's an official OST in sale or available somewhere.

  • lol "intruder!!" "OPEN THE DOOR!!!!"

  • What was it with enemies carrying only 2 bullets?

  • They don't make games like this anymore. Never mind the graphics. The game is great!

  • Only Nintendo fags say the n64 version is better >.>

  • @PhunkieZero Whats wrong you couldnt afford a better system?

  • @sebkav88

    N64 = Cartridges

    Ps1= Disks

Nintendo's been using outdated cartridge tech back when disk tech was being created.

But back onto the point, N64 was over-idolized due to it's huge fanbase.

Playstation didn't receive as much attention as it deserved, being a 'new age' console using disks and being from Sony, not known for games.

Playstation had many games that were also added onto the N64, but the PS1 had done those games better.

  • @PhunkieZero How did sony get the disks from?(nintendo!) nintendo was more social 4 controller ports! sony wasnt the first to use cd's sega was I believe. n64 had the better games(IMO) sony had more though but half of them were bad sony's games were bad (not all of them but most) they started copying nintendo games have you seen crash cart racing?Have you seen crash at all?(it was good I liked it though) If you tried a n64 you wouldve liked it.

  • @sebkav88

ACTUALLY Crash was basically one of Sony's mascots, and yes I know him, my first PS1 game was Crash Bandicoot 2, and it was awesome. All of the oldskool Crash games were awesome. Same with the older Spyro games.

I know Sega had Sega CD, but Sega had a CD console, Sony had a CD console, all the nintendo consoles at that date were cartridges.

Also, sony ps1 might have had a lot of slop games, but MANY awesome games (MGS, FF, Crash, Spyro)

What did N64 have? Zelda and pokemon?

  • @PhunkieZero To answer "What did N64 have? Zelda and pokemon?", I think it's still the problem with nintendo for me. Their last console I fully enjoyed was SNES, after that they had poor third party support and the Wii, though I have one, is kinda ridiculous to me. Basically, I like them as a software company, for a couple of their games, more than I want to buy their consoles on which they release these games.

  • @sebkav88 Also, I've played an N64, my best friend at the time had one, I just always seen the PS1 as better, I've always Been a playstation fan, up till the end of ps2. Sadly I never got a psp or ps3.

I'm not bagging on any system, I'm just saying Playstation was advanced for it's time, Sony's always been on top of things, and there were better games to be played.

    (Ps2 > Gamecube and Xbox)

Although, I loved the Dreamcast, too bad it was discontinued early. It needs a second version.

  • @PhunkieZero Well if you had a n64 you'd be the coolest person in school lol. dreamcast was doing so well I forgot what happened to it.it wasnt sony that destroyed it....

  • @sebkav88 No, Sony had nothing to do with the Dreamcast going down.

I think I remember hearing it was microsoft, that the console's controller was too similar to the Xbox's and the insides of it, and they fought to have Dreamcast brought down.

That's just what I heard, but as far as I know Sega, sony and nintendo had nothing against eachother

  • @PhunkieZero Also they had lost ea's support which hit em hard xbox came out 8 months later...

  • @PhunkieZero I have to agree with you on far too many things. I loved the original PS1, sure everyone had a N64 and N64 had better graphics (Not that I really care about graphics), however all my PS1 games had a special feel towards them. I also will probably never go back to Sony however, when the Next-Gen era came, I lost interest in them.

Dreamcast, however, is my favorite system...EVER. <3

  • love this game

  • When I get to the door after the metal detector, it doesn't let me through, plz help

  • the n64 was way better

  • both this and N64 were good but the N64 was the best and was a good movie too

  • There are no scenes of the movie in the N64 version

  • @Dash120z That would probably be because of the restricted space on a cartridge like the N64 used. As people say, both versions are just different games rather than one being a port of the other.

  • There is much difference between both versions

  • This is so much different than the n64 version.

  • Run forest run!!

  • So the mission was to bust out that window?

  • The number of missions for this game was fair, since this was back when gaming and film clips went hand in hand :)

Still though, this was a great game for it's time

  • The game ran quite smoothly for its time...

  • @u1009 It ran quite a bit more smoothly than the other 007 game on the PS1, Tomorrow Never Dies.

  • @DarkEvil87 once, on TND, where bond is hit in the head. i got the sound effects, but bond just kept walking and walking

  • Awsome Game

  • The opening is awesome!

  • I always used to laugh when the first guard's accent faded when saying "employees only". It goes from European to straight American lol.

  • @Solsman09 look at the guys hand at 735 they look amputated or they went threw a meat grinder.

  • lol the guard owww that hurt !!

  • n64 fucking owns this game it's like a retard made this and infinity ward trytach and actionvision made the n64 version

  • @Solsman09 ps1 is 32 bit n64 is well 64 bit

  • @Solsman09 in simpler terms the n64 had faster processors and more ram. I think the n64 had a 94mhz and 62.5mhz co processor and 8mb ram. The psx had a 33mhz processor and 2mb ram. In general the n64 was restricted due to games being crammed onto cartridge - the biggest being 64mb whereas ps1 games had 700mb storage. This meant only the most talented devs could actually get anything out of the n64.

  • @liveswired

N64 had 4 MBs of memory. 8 MBs when upgraded with the expansion pack.

PS1 had about 3.5 MBs of memory total.

The N64 had a tiny texture cache, tiny games, and a bad memory setup with bad memory access time, the fillrate sucked also.

    It's tricky to explain though.

  • @Usul573 Yeah it's tricky to explain - but cartridge was the main bottleneck of the n64. Even with the texture cache and memory setup n64 had enough horsepower. Fillrate wasn't a problem either, otherwise no games would've run at 640x480 - it was higher than that of the ps1. The best n64 games however have Polygon counts, textures, lighting and resolution beyond what could be achieved on ps1. Games also featured TLMMI, AA, environment mapping - so it had a significantly higher workload.

  • @liveswired

Yeah trilinear filtering and AA were two advantages of the N64 over PS1. N64 probably had better lightning effects too. It could beat it in several ways. Some games were impressive with what they pulled off on the N64, Indiana jones, Perfect Dark, Conker.

A lot of games had problems though.

  • @Usul573 yeah, true, it was simply way too complicated to work on. I'm glad Sony came along - they where a breath of fresh air.

  • @liveswired

    Uh, the PS1 you mean?

N64 seems to be the only game console with a "programming difficulties" part of it's wiki it seems.

    The PS1 is older also.

I have some very fond N64 memories but the PS1 just won for sales.

I guess maybe the PS1 was better set up.....but it was severely underpowered.

  • @Usul573 the N64 had the programming difficulties - but this was Nintendos fault entirely.

  • @liveswired

wiki says, "oversight on the part of the hardware designers, limitations on 3D technology of the time, and manufacturing capabilities" sounds about right, making a mass produced video game console to play 3D games in the mid 90s sounds like it was really hard. Some developers did some good work to get the best out of the system they could though. N64 did have some awesome games.

Enough of this though I think.

  • @Usul573 True, Amen to that lol. On the otherhand Wiki is an untrustworthy source for information.

  • @liveswired

Well, yes, but oversight, limitations on 3D technology, and manufacturing problems, sounds about right and I can imagine that and I think other sources talked about that.

  • @4:01 SONIC SCREWDRIVERRRRRR!!!

  • 6:00 he turned instantly ;O

  • @heisenfeis lol

  • haha i use to think this game was amazing, gaming has come far ;)

  • omg this version sucks compared to the n64

  • ah, memories. vague ones, though. i was like eight years old.

  • Wow this is so different compared to the N64 version. I wish I could get my hands on it.

  • Oh my god i remember spending HOURS on this game playing it over and over and over on my ps1... too bad i cant find the cd no more D:!!!

  • @Solsman09 they look like two completley diffrent games because they were made by two diffrent 3rd parties and the n64 version was taken more seriously and it had multi player on the n64 ps1 did not, i no i read somebody said they had fun playing this game tdm with their frinds on ps1 because that was impossable since ps1 was 1player and thats the big diffrance between the 2......................

  • this dosent have multiplayer

  • I remember I had to finish the game all in one day because my memory card broke.

  • this is so different than the n64 version i got. I wonder why black ops made the ps1 game while eurocome did the n64 one? I can tell right away this was done by black ops cuz the menus and the health bar are exactly like the ones from tomorrow never dies on ps1

  • 0:12 black ops entertainmen
