It never ceases to amaze me as to how the OKC bombing is such a distant memory in the eyes of so many, especially after 9/11. Why?

To a lesser extent, doesn't anyone else find it ironic that 9/11 took place shortly after McVeigh's execution, which happened on 6/11?
