the pet store i got mine at said it would be about 9 inches. i have had it about a year and it is already 9 inches or a little bigger. i think pet stores lie about fish size so people will buy them and have to come back for a bigger tank. very cool fish either way.
@juggalo309 i bought mine almost 2 weeks ago mislabeld as a sleeper goby. the picture didnt even match lol. ive had a sleeper and it looked nothing like this one. its real small right now, its eating blood worms
Protip: That's bullshit, and animals need to stop being used for false medicinal crap in Asia just because "someone said so". If you don't believe me, go look it up. Lots of animals in Asia are eaten for supposed medicinal properties, and none of those claims are backed by science. In fact, many species of freshwater turtle are critically endangered because idiots go and capture hundreds of them at a time to be butchered for crackpot "medicine" for people to buy.
They are ONLY found in Fresh water.

There's many marbled goby here in Indonesia. I've usually fish it during the night and now I have plenty of these fish on my tank.
Protip: If you eat these fish, it'll give you the same effect as Viagra. Some people even claimed that it's better than Viagra ;-)

Agree. It is only a delicacy as the texture of the meat is different to, say, barramundi. It has no medicinal properties as some believe.
