I did receive an Arts Grant to support my early work... 7 years ago I think.

The single grant of state and federal funds was for a project of 5 month duration and was more a token of encouragement (read not much money) and door-opener than underwriting.

Since then, I haven't requested funding because there hasn't been a need to.

So, yes I was the first artist to get a state/federal grant to support research, development of the bubble-arts. Nothing more.

I was at Mr. Plasterer's farm when they were taping his bubble show for "Real People" sometime around 1979. He was a spry eighty years old. Do you have any video of that?
