  • ECW is so awesome I don't even know if that last part with the audience member was real or not...

  • He expose those ECW smart marks lol

  • now thats a debut!

  • The motherfucker was the best thing wrestling ever had. Period.

  • @thebiglebowski2010 I'm so sorry, bro, I didn't mean to thumb this down, I was trying to thumb it up!

  • Pillman was great. And crazy as hell! Look for a video with JR telling a funny story about him. Its great.

  • If I ever were a wrestler I'll would love to have pillmans gimmick.. Best persona ever!

    R.I.P Pillman.

  • Still to this day the best debut ever :)

  • I had the honor of knowing brian, my mom was friends with him when she was bodybuilding and he was a great man r.i.p brian pillman

  • Eric Bischoff, or shall I say "Jerk-off" convinced Hogan to join him in disliking this video.

  • @professorintellect pillman tricked eric in to firing him in a storyline he got to sign a legal paper that meant he was fired for real as wcw would not realse him.

  • it was a shoot??

  • @RUSS21001

    It was a "shoot".

  • @RUSS21001 there's no such thing as a wrestling shoot.....anybody who actually thinks a shoot is legit is actually a mark in disguise.

  • @juanxena

Wow. I can't believe you said Pillman sucked. You have your opinion and I respect that, but I just find it hard to believe somebody can say this man had no talent.

  • he shouldve said Bitch-Off, lmao

  • they dont make wrestlers like Brian anymore,,a total badass,,funny as hell and most important interesting ,,not like todays retards who have to stick to the script word for word and action for action ,,with zero add-lib,,i feel bad for the kids growwing up today with know wrestling personalities....I had the greats,,,and they all were great becuase there personalities could not be held back..john cena is weak,,watch e.c.w one night only cenas e.c.w debut,,where they throw his shirt back to him

  • was this a work?

  • LOL I ROFLMFAO Yesterday when Jeff Hardy tried to pulled off a Brian Pillman promo yesterday in tna.

  • Pillman was awesome. That should have been put on the Pillman dvd.

  • Man, I miss him. He was like the Joker of wrestling

  • @axelosbourne I kind of saw him as the Kurt Cobain of wrestling.

  • he looks like Kurt Cobain

  • When I look at CM punk of today, I see a little bit of the old Brian Pillman. ROFL Both know how to work the crowd.

  • @316cenasucks but they were kind of opposite, cm punk is straight edge and brian pillman was poppin those pills.

  • Everyone should buy the DVD about Brian Pillman's career, he was a genius. Thumbs up for that.

  • Absolutely EPIC worked shoot that threw everybody who wasn't in the loop for a loop. This was a classic case of what made ECW so revolutionary and cutting edge: they took an underrated wrestler and elevated him in less than 10 minutes by raising the bar to another dimension entirely.

Pillman was unhinged and the crowd was electric. A classic moment in wrestling where all the elements fell perfectly into place.

One of the best debuts by a known wrestler in another promotion EVER.

  • @Ashleigh18644

I watched this for the first tmm and you just made it like 10X more epic to me

  • Love the sign.

  • The Loose Cannon gimmick was golden and could of been so big in the mid/late 90s during the peak of Attitude. It's really a shame that Pillman was taken away from us way too early.

  • brian pillman one of the best heels of all time

  • This started ALL of the worked shoot angles that followed in WWF and WCW. Russo keeps trying to recreate this kind of thing and it never, ever works.

  • @weneedsomegolfshoes

How can you say that Brian Pillman was a nobody. I'll agree with you that there are alot of people who praise him only because he's dead, but the man was very talented. If his life wasn't cut short there's no doubt he could have been a huge player in the attitude era. Maybe even bigger than stone cold. That's just my opinion.

  • I remember way before this when I just started watching wrestling there was this guy doing all these high flying moves things I had never seen which was in contrast to the WWF and Hogan Flyin Brian Pillman that dude opened my eyes then he evolved into this character I loved it him and Raven 2 of wrestlings best creations in my opinion RIP Pillman.

  • @WeNeedSomeGolfShoes A nobody???...you call a guy that joined the Four Horsemen, the Hart Foundation, a man that shined in all 3 companys ECW, WCW and WWF while superstars like Bret Hart, Shane Douglas, Stone cold steve austin and others couldnt get the same kind of brightness...a man that outshined Flair with the Hollywood Blonds thats a nobody?? than if my comment was ridiculous than i can imagine yours

  • its a shame he died so early pillman could of been as great as austin. pillman vs austin ftw

  • @sonsofrage well except for the career changing leg injury in 96 pretty much grounded "flyin"brian Pillman for the rest of his life.

  • Pillman was even extremer than ECW at that time...that makes him a legend of the atitude era!!

  • i can see why jon moxley acts like he does

mox has a pillman edge to him

r.i.p pillman we miss you alot

  • The Curt Cobain of Wrestling, one of my faves since I was a kid and I'm 25

  • the hell they were singing at 2:00

  • @neilbres17 "Bischoff takes it UP the ass, do da, do da, Bischoff takes it UP the ass... best fans ever

  • G8DD4MN!!!! WHAT THE HELL HAPPEND TO AUSTIN AND PILLMANN......THEY COULD HAVE RAISED HELL TOGETHER DURING THE ADDITUDE ERA.

  • The business could really use another Brian Pillman right about now.

  • ECW, at times, was pure genius

  • Seriously... I don't even know where to start to try and understand this. I didn't keep up with it back in the day, ECW that is. Or the Brian Pillman career. Can someone FULLY explain this?

  • @DaneCookPwnz

Pillman was "fired" by WCW, and debuted in ECW here. But honestly, no one knows just how real his firing was, as WCW was trying to run a storyline the blurred the lines of storyline and reality as much as possible. Bischoff claims that, in order to make the gimmick of Pillman being unpredictable realistic, they fired him, with intentions to have him appear in the crowd in WCW later on and attack WCW stars. However, Pillman nevr did. No one knows how real it all was.

  • @DaneCookPwnz Buy the Pillman DVD.

  • only on ECW

  • The best worked shoot of all time!! Get's good after the 5 min mark.

  • man i miss ecw

  • i can't stop watching this XDDD

  • Bischoff takes it up the ass,

    do-da

    do-da

Bischoff takes it up the ass

    oh de-do-da-day

  • @crazysteve1986 PG fans don't even know the Do-Da song

  • Any body know of other epic promos like this one?

  • Simply put..Thank you Brian Pillman for such great promos, wrestling and amazing sound bytes...You are missed..

  • Only a mark would think OJ didn't do it

  • Damn, loose cannon was an under statement

  • EVerytime I watch this I really do see a bit of the Joker in Pillman. and I don't see that as a bad thing.

  • does anybody know what symbol is on pillman's shirt?

  • Cause Im Brian FUCKING Pilman LOL!!!!!

    RIP one of the best

  • Pillman is not a man he is GOD! why every good people have to die on this world?

  • Ladies and gentlemen the biggest waste of talent wcw, ecw and wwf ever had. He should of ruled the attitude era! RIP Pillman.

  • @vedder316 He prolly would've if not for his death. You can bet that Austin definitely woulda pushed for a big program with Pillman once Austin got to that level of main eventer

  • '"I don't give a fuck about you or your smart marks booker man" lol

  • damn. I see a bit of The Joker in Pillman, which is pretty fuckin epic.

  • PILLMAN IS GOD. Epic promo. Jesus Christ, we miss you Brian. Pro wrestling needs real talent like you these days.

  • wtf hulk hogan 6:44

  • It's Brian F'N PILLMAN! I gotta say his death hit me harder than the death of Owen, or the death of the BritishBuilldog, Rick Rude, mr Perfect, Big BossMan, and so forth. Pillman was a true entertainer, and had such an incredible mind and knack for the business. Had this incident not happened, and Brian, who is now flying with the angels has looked dow with a smile of his face as he watched his best friend, Steve Austin rise to incredible icon status. in his last day in WWF he gave sum funny sht

  • Sadly in this new pro wrestling era, you won't ever seen promos like this before. LOL This is really how you work a crowd. R.I.P Brian Pillman.

  • The Pillman Kliq!!

  • That was pretty awesome.

  • brian pillman was the fucking man at this and he was a great wrestler rip pillman wich you were still here

  • brian pillman is the best

  • I love Styles freaking out at Pillman's "johnson"

  • fucking brilliant promo pillman was the man!

  • Pillman was the man. Craziest bastard to ever step into the ring. Guy could work a crowd like no other. And my god, the pop he got here was IMMENSE.

  • AUSTIN/PILLMAN>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>todays retards if you think wrestling is now full of fucking retards GIMME A HELL YEAH!!!!!

  • his voice is raspy, like shawn michaels lol.

  • @LegendKiller15v2 cause he had alot of throat operations when he was younger

  • Bischoff takes it up the ass, doo dah. Doo dah. God I miss ECW.

  • Fucking brilliant..

  • Pee pee!

  • BRIAN FUCKIN' PILLMAN!

  • Miss ya BP

  • I hear someone saying "hes shooting" at 7:30... Was that to tell Shane that Brian was acting?

  • Pillman looked so freaking awesome in ECW

  • If wrestling was figurative art, Pillman would be its Picasso.

  • @AlkalineKrogan90 I'd say he'd be more like Dali

  • one of the best promos ever

  • I only wish Pillman had beat the living shit outta sign guy and hat guy. Those 2 faggots.

  • gotta love the "Bischoff takes it up the ass doo dah doo dah" chant

  • holy fucking shit wat a shoot. btw i was wondering if he was dogging Austin by saying ur a piece of fucking shit idk though mabye Eric bischoff is who hes talking about. but its great 5/5

  • No he was definitely NOT dogging Austin...he was speaking to Biscoff only. He and Austin were best friends. The gold necklace Austin always wore to the ring in WWE was given to him by Pillman as a gift. Pillman here made reference to how Biscoff was a former coffee boy who brought coffee to WCW bigwigs before becoming a bigwig himself.

  • I'm glad The ECW Audience gave Pillman a great pop.

  • HELL YEAH

  • pillman/austin >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> todays retards if you think wrestling is now full of fucking retards GIMME A HELL YEAH!!!!

  • I loved how Pillman laid the truth into the so-called "smarks"

  • Wrestling 14 Years Ago Was SWEET!! ...Such A Shame wrestling has Evolved backwards ...THIS is 20x more entertaining than WWE or TNA

  • ROH is the wrestling of the future

  • You're not running this show, cause I'm Brian "fuckin" Pillman!!

  • genius on the mic, what a deep voice

  • should he didnt die in 97, i could imagine that it would have been him challenging austin during 98 ppvs instead of dude love..but then again we wouldnt have mick foley as we know him today

  • lol that dude looked like carrot top that pillman fucked up lol

  • Pillman would've been NUCLEAR today. He was 10 years ahead of his time.

  • Pillman probably would have been bigger than Austin if he would have lived

    RIP Brian Pillman

  • Yea man, I agree wit u 100%.

  • if pillman had lived, i think vince would have made him the flagship of the wwf.

  • what are the fans singing just when pillman speaks?

  • Bischoff takes it up the ass! Doo-Dah, Doo-Dah, Bischoff takes it up the ass, Oh-Doo-Dah-Day!

  • Bischoff takes Hogan up the ass! Doo-Dah, Doo-Dah, Bischoff takes Hogan up the ass, Oh-Doo-Dah-Day!

  • @SexxyMessiah cena takes macmahon up the ass! doo-dah doo-dah cena takes macmahon up the ass oh-doo-dah-day!

  • 7:31 "he's shooting"

    did i hear that right?

  • That vest is pretty cool. Pillman always had an awesome wardrobe. Awesome wrestler.

  • lol Brian was the one who was a cocaine slut

  • How do you figure, dumb ass? Him and Michaels were completey different.

  • Shawn Michaels is the poor man's Dynamite Kid

  • Shawn Michaels style is waay different than DK's.

  • @FUCKULUKEFITZGERALD I`m talking in terms of overall workrate

  • Yes but Shawn still has a great workrate, and DK's workrate is matched by only a few.

  • pillmam would of been awesome in the attitude era

  • You mean was awesome in the attitude era?

  • Ah Brian Pillman, the only man who could make Bobby Heenan break character on live ppv!!

  • I BEEN TRYING TO FIND IT ...what ppv? any link to it lmao

  • @criticalbill1983 ...the fuck are you doing?

  • When did that happen?

  • rest in peace loose cannon there will never be another wrestler like brian pillman

  • I don't know if there's ever gonna be a similar story to that of the loose cannon, to this day nobody knows if he was working or not

  • Nobody knows? I'd say the plant in the crowd he fake stabbed makes it pretty obvious... still, for 96, this was INSANE!!

  • i meant for the wrestlers on the back, mick foley claims he didn't know, joey styles thought it was a work, but later he saw Brian Pillman shitting on the floor on the production's office. Jim Ross thought it was real

  • That's simply people "protecting the business" - they said stuff like that because kayfabe was so wishy-washy in the 90's and they needed to break it to save it, if that makes sense...

  • LMAO the marks with the sign sayin PILLMAN DONT WORK US. thats EXACTLY what he is doing. they think there not being worked, yet there yellin back at him. giving him the reaction he wants........HENCE.......he is WORKING them lol. you had em in the palm of your hand pillman. RIP

  • @ant8tfive

The guys with the sign were the plants, but I get your point

  • @ant8tfive That was the point of the sign....They knew they were being worked.

  • @CAWGregoryBlack yea there being worked coz there marks, everyone knows that, about the ecw crowd, they were just aload a marks.

  • @ant8tfive ECW fans knew what the fuck the deal was. Unlike the mindless sheep that follow WWE and TNA.

  • @napalmman420 im not tryin to offend or hate on anyone, but its common knowledge that ecw fans were gigantic marks.

  • @ant8tfive exactly. He's a wrestler. That's what he's meant to do. Does that guy go to the theatre and hold up a sign sayng "IAN MC CELLEN, DON'T PRETEND TO BE MACBETH"

  • @ant8tfive Raven always said these people in Philly were the easiest to "work". lol

  • @ant8tfive best worker in the bizz!

  • i'm glad joey styles did bitch slap that redkneck cuntpiece JBL

  • Pillman was a genious !!!!! outstanding one of my all time favourite pillman moments

  • i agree WHAT A FUCKIN PROMO

  • such a shame this guy died!

he was way before his time!

he could ve cracked hollywood if he was still around today!

he had more charisma in his hair than orton , cena and batisita have combined!!

bischoff ...or shall i say JERKOFF!!

  • Pillman was the man....he laid the foundation for the rated r superstar edge and the jericho of today....a feud between pillman and jericho would kick ass

  • PILLMAN! PILLMAN! PILLMAN! PILLMAN!

  • Long Live The Loose Cannon!

  • tna would kill for a chararcter like this

  • he would of played an awsome joker

  • fuckin classic...long live pillman.....this guy would have been a main eventer for a loooong time....what a loss....austin 3:16 doesnt have shit on brian FUCKIN pillman

  • lol am I right when I say that Tod Gordon's voice sounds like he being voice-overed by Trey Stone ?

  • Wait, Matt Stone.

  • Is it me or did Eric Bischoff fire everyone? Austin got fired by him, now I find out Pillman got fired by him. Who else got fired and went to ECW?

  • He kinda reminds me of the joker from the batman cartoon that used to come on back in the day. The GOOD one

  • This guy is my favourite wrestler ever, i used to stay up till 2 or 3 in the morning on school nights just to see him as Flyin Brian Pillman in WCW. That was the only time it was on in the UK. He had more talent, charisma and attitude than every single person in the WWE now, and IMO was way ahead of his time when he was the loose cannon. He was already in the attitude era before it arrived. Brilliant to see this up, he is badly missed in the Wrestling world. RIP Brian.

  • yeah i must have watched it round the same time, it was on itv after prisoner cell block H lol... possibly tuesdays.. I also rememer Vader debuting and scaring the shit out of me... later on it was scott norton...

  • Pillman was insane, one of my fav personas of all time.

The Loose Cannon was one of a kind and still is.

  • he was the woody harrelson of wrestling. he could go from normal to psycho in seconds and you never knew if he was acting or not. he was brilliant

  • If Pillman had lived another 10 years Cena would be Jobbing to him

  • @Collegejew629 doubtful...Brian was always underrated, can't imagine that Vince would have EVER used him to his full potential

  • i never stop watching any of Brian Pillman's video's " i'm gonna yank out my johnson and piss in this hell hole " ROFLMFAO!!!! RIP " Flying " Brian Pillman THE LOOSE CANNON........ best gimmick of all time and best wrestler.... we all love you and will never forget you!

  • best ECW PROMO!!!!!!! EVERRRRRRRRRR

  • 12 years later we still sit here and remeber one of the most under rated wrestlers and entertainers of a generation of stars.

  • man i miss brian pillman...

  • If he stayed around ECW instead of going to WWF, he would've been ECW World Heavyweight Champion like, 50 times.

  • my hero and idol

  • Brian Pillman: I do whatever I want, whenever I want, AND I DON'T GIVE A FUCK ABOUT YOU OR YOUR SMART MARKS!!!

  • did pillman make big money in ecw, biscoff ran off a lot talent, why wonder oh eric on foodstamps now dayz
