The trick was actually found by jardart. :P Here you need to switch FRAPS on, and set the recording framerate lower than 40FPS, since the trick only works on low framerates according to jardart's research.

You could switch FRAPS on, and then set a framerate lower than 40 in the "movies" section. The default video capture hotkey is F9 as seen in that section, but you could also change it if you want. Then when you're playing, press F9 to record, so FRAPS will force the ingame framerate to synchronize with the desired recording framerate (if the graphics card isn't powerful enough, it might be even lower than the desired framerate).

This run was mainly contributed to by the 1st go-through-wall glitch you know, and due to the shortcut at the wolf-pit being kinda hard for me, so regardless of those mistakes, I chose to post it. =\

6:43 is pretty great. ^^ I can't do sub 6 min without these shortcuts either.

I just saw Mman2 TR1 Tomb of Qualopec speedrun using a glitch that allows you to jump over the rock without dying, i just wander if this can be done on Anniversary.

I'll test it on PS2.

You could bypass it too in Anniversary, but with pistol roll along the slope. However, even after succeeding in dodging the bolder, you're still bound to die if you just walk for about 3 more steps. Nothing hits you while you're dead; that's just how it happens...

Btw, the above was found and tested by jardart, the best glitch expert I've ever met. He's currently officially running Anniversary. You could find 98% shortcuts in Anniversary on his channel, which were all found by himself.

Dude, you should really continue Anniversary speedrun, there's a glitch that helps you skip the Entire Obelisk of Khamoon level and a big part of Temple of Khamoon (thats what I remember).

I'm trying a PS2 speedrun, ya know, without all those glitches, and I think that if we both record it we can send the speedruns to SDA as separated categories PS2 and PC version, I just need to find a way to record it on PS2 and thats it.

But the Obelisk of Khamoon glitch can only be done on PC version it.

I know about that glitch; it was found by jardart, who's currently running the game with fly glitch. As 4 me, I don't think I will run it recently at least, since my current PC sucks. So there're plenty of tricks that I'm not capable of doing while recording. =/

Nice to hear you want to run it on PS2. ^^ You could buy a DVD recorder to record footages. I don't think I will use go-thru-wall glitch in my run if I finally run it one day, cuz I don't want my run fall under an alternative category.

I'm using the fly glitch and it makes thing far easier, like finishing The Lost Valley level on 1:26.

I would do it on PC version since the controls are far easier to play with, (keyboard and mouse are just perfect), but my PC sucks.

Acutally I made plenty of mistakes in this run but since I got some major lucks at crucial parts, I decided to upload this one. :P

I don't think I'm gonna do runs for Anniversary any more, since my current PC really sucks so that lots of shortcuts can be impossible. I'll hopefully run TR8. By the release date of it I'll have had my new computer. :D

I dunno how many FPS does PS2 support. The go-thru-wall glitch had better be performed under less than 40FPS; the lower it is, the higher success rate you get. Above 40, it is near impossible to be done.

And the PS2 version is a pretty bad choice to speedrun this game, since the camera control can't be precise while many tricks require very accurate visual angle. On PC, you can turn the camera 360° in a sudden.

Those bugs on the PS2 won't work on the Mac: I've tried many and many times, they simply won't work, so Mac Users cannot perform those jumps on slopes. Also, the keyboard seems so less responsive than on the consoles. Tried on the MacBook (2.0GHz and GMA 950 with 64Mb of shared VRAM) and on the new MacBook Pro with 2.4Ghz and 256 Mb nVidia 8600M GT): I have the same problem; it's a different code at all, I guess... I was hoping on the "Air Glitch", but, alas, it wont' work either!!!

Those bugs won't work on PS2 either, since they need to be activated by FRAPS. I'm on PC. And I hate controller with passion. It totally sucks with the camera control. Keyboard and mouse are perfect.

I dunno about Mac. I use keyboard and mouse to make every vid. The first go-thru-wall glitch needs at most 40FPS to be activated. The lower the FPS here are, the more reliable it becomes. I turned the FRAPS on, and set the recording FPS as 30 here.

when your at qaulapecs hole, there is a glitch of little t - rex , they even dont excist there but there is a hiss of them xD

Maybe their hiss is so loud that it spreads to the mainhall. There could be found two raptors existing in the deep pit, if you play the lvl carefully. ;) One is at the first artifact area and another is at the fist pit above which you first enter this lvl.

Well, just simply switch the "manual grab" ON. :) And then, every time you're almost on a pole, release the grab button. This will speed you up when you're leaping off from a pole. This's called manual grab glitch. ;)

I know it's very hard to succeed all this shortcuts in order, but you've got almost all of 'em.

I'm a bit confused about your route after activating the 3rd switch though. Jumping back to the platform (the one you landed on after pulling of the shortcut), continuing to the pole, just before the switch, and from there simply jumping at the top area should be faster. ;)

at 4:41 ish, when you fall from the door you can do a left roll on the rock and press jump and very fast up so you can grab the ledge faster
