Hey girlfriend. You sent me this tune and I have to tell you I play this while I am driving on Ocean Parkway going to the beach BLASTING and singing. Purfect song for this action. Lets turn on it on, and justify my sunglasses. YEA..... xxxx
"I woke up baby, and the summer's gone..." I cannot wait for the weather to warm up so I can pop open the window, put this in the CD player and drive all over the South Shore as I did 11 years ago when I first heard it! I love the "Forever Now" album (Resurgence version) a lot but this is my favorite track, and probably my favorite post-"Running In the Family" cut! Cheers from a RVC (adopted hometown) kid.
You have Excellent Taste, and it is great to hear someone else does the same thing driving by "the beach" either Jones or Robert Moses. Are you a Brit? How about World Machine, Fantastic Album. I am going Oct 4th to Manchester UK to see them IN PERSON. Hooray!!! Cheers Back at you from a Huge Level 42 Fan.
Good to hear from you. Am not a Brit but heard about L42 during the "Something About You" days, then grew to really appreciate them during my years at Hofstra. I really groove to the "World Machine" album and "Lying Still" is one of my favorite ballads of all time.
Good to hear back from you too. I loved Something About You, and last summer I renewed my love of Level 42, found out from You Tube how many songs THEY REALLY HAD, which blew me away. As a result of You Tube, I met my boyfriend, (A Brit who loves Level 42) our song is Something About You, and we are going to see Level 42 in October. Check out DavenMad2008 (Madeleine). This tune is my second favorite, World Machine then Starchild. Hope one day we hear each other blasting the music. hahah
I did a bit of research on this Trace, and found out the following. This is from the Rotterdam 2002 Reflex of the 80's.This was a music show from a Dutch televison company with artists from the 80's. Can't get enough of my boys. This is my second fav song. First is World Machine. But, then I love THEM ALL!!! :~)
Go Gary go. Wow the drummer, Gary Husband, tore it up and end of this one.
