Incorrect. That woman who tried to kill Tokimi is Ayeka and Sasami's mother Misaki. You seen her before during episode 13. You probably didn't exactly recognize her due to her short hair. In the future she'll come across with the energies of the "counter-actor" and went insane because she couldn't control such large energies. The reason why she attacked Tokimi out of the 3 chousin was because she is neither a friend or a daughter. This is all explained more detailed in a canon doujin.

This was definitely one of the better scenes. No extra distractions, since Noike was kept to a minimum. Lots of great comedy in this scene. If only they kept this tone earlier, this 3rd OVA series would have been great.

the dubb and sub have such different translations. the sub is more accurate and makes more sense. but then I prefer the voice of Washu in the dub, especially in this scene, THAT squeky voice coming out of a creation goddess...just aint right.

Beings in the third dimension would have little chance of realizing their imprisonment, little chance of amassing ungodly capabilities, and would therefore pose no threat to the goddesses' own existence.

the other things are the guardians over specific dimensions, the administrators as it were. Like if this were Greek Mythology Washu, Tsunami, and Tokimi would be on par with Chaos, Nyx, and Erebus, while the admins would be on par with say Gaea and Uranus, or something between those two levels really.

so in the end it's just like starting back to ep. 1....and it seems they still remember everything...and BTW the two Ryo-ohki part at 2:40 was funny...and i saw TMGXP (didn't know where to start on this series) first so i got the ref. at 7:20....honestly i really didn't mind that this wasn't faithful to the previous OVA.....to me it's just another great anime that i loved watching to the end....as long as it's enjoyable and the end isn't a cliff hanger im happy.

There only seven episodes in Tenchi Muyo! Ryo-ohki. So that's impossible. Unless you were to put Tenchi Muyo! and Tenchi Muyo! Ryo-ohki together, then that would be 20 episodes, and Episode 6 would be Episode 19.

DBZ gods are weak and pathetic and unworthy of being called gods. DBZ uses crap power scaling, is dull and repetitive, and all the characters look like they're constipated when powering up. The three goddesses outclass Son Goku in every way.

People can be distracted easily by big explosions and flashy colors and can be fooled into not seeing that a series has NO SUBSTANCE WHATSOEVER. DBZ is Bread and Circuses. All flash, all trash. I used to like DBZ, but poor fight physics, horrible pacing, utter repetitiveness, and the overuse of the most uninteresting characters in the whole series (Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, Trunks, Goten) made me wanna upchuck.

I think the problem is that DBZ had too much filler due to its popularity, while tenchi muyo had hardly any (or hardly any episodes that required it anyways). Both are almost totally equal, with the Tenchi metaseries beating out dragonball by 0.00000000001%

Watching episodes of bulma throwing cake at krillin isnt exactly what i call time well spent. Another contemporary example is naruto (I dont like it, but its a good example). However other than that issue, I would say that dbz (and even more so, dragonball) are very good shows and are equal in greatness to this show. Od though, I can still remember growing up in the mid to late 1990s when dbz only had the harmony gold dub and Tenchi Muyo was the absolute shit amongst the anime fans.

YOU see they are powerful, but like normal people, they don't know if there are gods or being more powerful then they are. Thus they tried to bring chaos and find this powerful being.

Just like governments use television and other media to distract/manipulate their citizens, these hyper-beings created the third dimension to house all other sentient life. Beings in the third dimension would have little chance of realizing their imprisonment, little chance of amassing ungodly capabilities, and would therefore pose no threat to the goddesses' own existence.

the other things are the guardians over specific dimensions, the administrators as it were. Like if this were Greek Mythology Washu, Tsunami, and Tokimi would be on par with Chaos, Nyx, and Erebus, while the admins would be on par with say Gaea and Uranus, or something between those two levels really.
and the glowing Tenchi would be Tenchi of the Future, power fully realized coming back to keep time correct.
Just as the counter-actor is actually Misaki from the future as well with her godlynes

so in the end it's just like starting back to ep. 1....and it seems they still remember everything...and BTW the two Ryo-ohki part at 2:40 was funny...and i saw TMGXP (didn't know where to start on this series) first so i got the ref. at 7:20....honestly i really didn't mind that this wasn't faithful to the previous OVA.....to me it's just another great anime that i loved watching to the end....as long as it's enjoyable and the end isn't a cliff hanger im happy.

There only seven episodes in Tenchi Muyo! Ryo-ohki. So that's impossible. Unless you were to put Tenchi Muyo! and Tenchi Muyo! Ryo-ohki together, then that would be 20 episodes, and Episode 6 would be Episode 19.

It's not that confusing, You have to Watch from the first ova to now. Basicaly they the goddess create this universe as a experiment to know if there is someone that exist beyond their comprehension like a god. The whole tenchi muyo show basically didn't explain their purpose till now.

People can be distracted easily by big explosions and flashy colors and can be fooled into not seeing that a series has NO SUBSTANCE WHATSOEVER. DBZ is Bread and Circuses. All flash, all trash. I used to like DBZ, but poor fight physics, horrible pacing, utter repetitiveness, and the overuse of the most uninteresting characters in the whole series (Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, Trunks, Goten) made me wanna upchuck.
Anyway, this isn't DBZ, it's Tenchi. So stop bringing it up.

first off the big explosion had power levels so you can tell how powerful was the person so no the big explosion did'nt make them powerful. Gohan did. And he didn't beat Buu...he had to rely on the Spirit Ball of Dues Ex Machina. Don't get me wrong, I like DBZ...but DBZ is like Sloppy Joes, and Tenchi Muyo is a fine steak.

I think the problem is that DBZ had too much filler due to its popularity, while tenchi muyo had hardly any (or hardly any episodes that required it anyways). Both are almost totally equal, with the Tenchi metaseries beating out dragonball by 0.00000000001%

Watching episodes of bulma throwing cake at krillin isnt exactly what i call time well spent. Another contemporary example is naruto (I dont like it, but its a good example). However other than that issue, I would say that dbz (and even more so, dragonball) are very good shows and are equal in greatness to this show. Od though, I can still remember growing up in the mid to late 1990s when dbz only had the harmony gold dub and Tenchi Muyo was the absolute shit amongst the anime fans.

okay these goddess created tenchi's universe consisting of up to 11 dimensions. They themseves exist in hyper dimension. So you can say we exist in 3rd dimension.
