Yep that is the way I have mine tuned up as well. When you by a tenor then you tune it like a tenor... so that is why it has that big wide bridge to cope with the tension:-)

I think I will leave it the way that it is. It does not seem to protest

I agree, Robert. The uke is so solidly built and is so rugged, that it shouldn't really be a problem. That said, the next strings will be proper baritone gCEA, just to be on the safe side.

Strange thing is I replaced the original strings with tenor strings I bought from Strings Ierland, and I still had to trim the excess off :-)
