Rationality, have you met these census workers yet? Yes the Bush census was unamerican too, if that makes you feel better. I filled out the short form last time, then received the long form. I refused to fill it out. Most of the questions on it were intrusive, and nobody's business. I respect the need for a census, however, the government already has access to all of this information anyway, via birth records, social security, the IRS, school records, the VA etc.

I know the census has been going on for 200 yrs, I have seen several sets of those records pertaining to my own family. They contain names, addresses, and dates of birth.
