??? Depend on the year and weather in July. The salt flats are not a National Park but are BLM territory. If they were a National Park they would not have been mined for ninety years with minimal salt left to race on.
its a national park, so they will never pave it. on a dry day the salt is VERY smooth and flat. with high humidity it gets soft and bumpy. it gets groomed for speed week, like a ski slope. it is 45 square miles of flat go fast fun!
SAVE THE SALT! Stop mining the salt flats so we can run our cars!

Oh, I couldnt just take my car there the way it is? It's having some work done do the engine, but I know it'll do 130 at least after all the mods.

you can try the 130 club or the 150 club, you will have to modify your car to enter both. Check out USFRA web site for rules.
