  • @awashedupsterotype

I think its so interesting how diverse we all are. There are great things about every hair type. And there are styles here straight haired gals might be able to use.

  • @tuxu14 I know that i really think people should be happy with there hair. i think we just get bored with them we start getting fraustrated for a change. i get bored of straight hair everyone wants to have it and its reall not a big dealeo. curls are pretty and interesting and come in all shapes and sizes.

  • @charleswife I know. I can't wait for my hair to get to her current length. I think she's MBL. :B

  • @Naptural85 , i love your hair! and i agree that hot oil treatments are very good, i use burdock and coconut oils for my hair to stimulate hair growth (cut my hair short almost a year ago and it just doesn't grow back fast :( ) by the way, do you know any ways to make them grow faster? :)

  • What is that cap she puts on after she oils her hair? Not the black one the clear one. Sorry I'm a clueless guy trying to do stuff to make my hair healthier.

  • I wish Ihad hair like yours:)it looks so good on you!! but I have boring european hair...however the oil treatment works great on my hair as well:)

  • @keisha578 Get out of here. She doesn't need your comments. I bet you wish you had hair as long as hers.

  • @keisha578 bwhahahahahahahaha! its always the bald eagle bitches that got something to say! lmao and go comb yo 15 hairs *dead*

  • It looks exactly the same

  • @nellypie123 I don't think it was supposed to look different. My hair doesn't look any different after an oil treatment either....feels great though. I wish i had her curl pattern.

  • Lmao

  • I think it is so funny how you were so excited about this length and here you are now. Great job. I come here to compare your old videos to your new and they motivate me.

  • HOW HOT WAS UR OILS? WHT KIND OF OILS DID U USE?

  • You're so cute...even with that goofy hat on. Also, I'm happy you uploaded this video again because I needed this information. Thanks again.

  • I can guess some of the oils but what did you add

  • @AmourNista @Nosaltypeanut : she listed them in the beginning of the video in a little blue box

  • This is where my length is

    :-) ♥

  • Your Pretty

  • how long did you leave in your kinky twist, and what did you do to maintain them?

  • @MrJeanbean456 Lol my arms aren't muscular but I get your point!

  • I'm like that after I take down my hair too LOL!

  • Your hair is GORGEOUS!

  • this was your best look and perfect length

  • I love your method. You make everything seem effortless.

  • Do you wash the hair before you do the oil treatment or do you do it directly on "dirty"/unwashed hair?

  • @mizbel101 I'm not her, but here in the video she did the hot oil treatment 1st, THEN washed it (pre-poo). :)

  • Awh sooo kewwwt

  • did she do any videos of how she took care of her while the twist were in?

  • Jesus loves you, For anyone who didnt know

  • You are amazing I been on youtube almost all day watching your videos. Me and my daughter are transitioning and I don't have a clue on what to do. I wish I could find your first videos when you first started.

  • and conditioner and stuff and i didint use protection before but now that it grew back and everything and stuff its like more damaged then before! wtf!D: its like dry a bit frizzy and stuff and i straighten it every 3-4 days cuz i dont wash it cuz thatll just fuck it even more but yeah help would be greatly apperciated cause i cant find anything about hair and stuff for guys so...

  • @Nigafish420 first of all sounds like your hair straightener is frying your hair! Try the FHI or the Babyliss Nano Titanium. They're not the cheapest, but it's worth it. Then try protein treatments every 2 weeks then maintain every 6 weeks once hair condition is better. Alongside that you'll need water based deep moisturising treatments. Don't forget a water based leave in followed by an oil to lock it up with. I hope this helps!

  • @PurpleFairyWings once i get skyrim ill spend my money on a straightener:o and whats protein treatments?:o

  • im prolly gnns be the only one but umm how do guys do this?:b cause my hairs getting damaged from straightening it but i have curly fucking hair and i hate having curly frizzeh hairXp but anyways i started straightening my hair like in feburary?... and then it was like anime looking and then i cut it in may cuz it started to get damaged and then it got wayy short and its growing back now and i started straightening my hair again like in july? and i been using protection and stuff for the heat

  • Question: since you didn't say what the oils are that you used in this video, I'm assuming you sell the hot oil treatment. Where can I get my hands on some? Thx!! :-)

  • how often should I do hot oil treatments?

  • @1HARMONICLIFE, most websites say once a month and deep condition once a week every two weeks at the most.

  • Goodness, I love your hair!!!!

  • I love your hair!!! That is all. :)

  • wow thats a lot of shrinkage. but your hair sure has grown since this

  • Instead of a heat-cap, can I use a steamer?

  • Comment removed

  • where do you get these oils from??????????

  • i know this is an old video...but it's so funny! thanks for all the great tips!

  • I know this is irrelevant but your arms are SICK! I love them! Great recipes btw!

  • do you do the oil treatment before or after you shampoo/cowash??

  • i like her hair her blackis beutifullllllllllllll

  • how often should you do a hot oil treatment? and how often should you deep condition your hair?

  • I'm natural 3weeks now and i love you channel! Very informative. Question: I dont know if someone asked already, but what is that black-bag-heating-thingy you put on... what is it called?

  • @lachapellelover

It's called a heating cap you can find them all over the place online. Just Google heating cap and it should bring up sites to where you can purchase them. I don't use a heating cap myself I preferably use the portable salon dryer. Its a nice small size one that sits on top of a table. It's cheap and does its job.

  • What did u use to make the oil treatment?

  • Your hair is fabulous and you are gorgeous!

  • what did you put on your hair while you had your twists?

  • I love your videos, I have'nt permed my hair since january 2011 and I have probably 3 inches of new growth under my permed hair. I really want to go natural. • @drrcrmj8 I bought mine from Walmart & Kmart....... Hope this help..... :-)

  • I dont have tight coils... shoot I barley have coils at all. I have some kinky, thick root, wave here, knot there, a few straight almost blow dried looking pieces, hair. • good blessed you with your hair. i wished i had so wild curls:-) unfortunately i have to get away with european flat, straight hair:-D

  • i like the music it makes it exciting. && where did you get your castor oil i can never find it other than the ones in the laxative isle, and yeahh thats not the one that i want

  • @kumari20o8 the best and highest quality is at a health food store..you can also buy online. :)

  • This video was uploaded only 9 months ago! Wow! your hair has gotten so long since then!!!!!

  • @mzkyndramaries well it was actually in 2009, she had to reupload this vid bc of copyright. As well as a few others

  • You are just too cute!! I love how your personality shines through. I'm such a nerd, I was totally screaming with you, haha. I'm happy to see that I'm not that only one that does goofy little dances in my heat cap. Keep up the great work Nap!!

  • black womans arms are usual muscular cause were always doing our hair!!

  • @MrJeanbean456 You know there might be some truth in that... hopefully I see results soon the more my hair grows because my arms are lanky as hell.

  • I love my natural hair, i have one year and a half natural . But i get so tired of putting treatments and always have to deal with it :( i get tired just watching this. I have to take so much care of it cuz it gets all dry..and i dont have much time to do it. Anyways thanks for all the ideas.

  • lol...she's soo cute

  • How much oil would you say to use of each one?

  • HELLO! I am a licensed cosmetologist and always tryna figure out different techniques and styles, I have wat/ched you since last night 8/20/11 and I was absolutely amazed by the techniques and styles u came up with for natural hair. Also being that im natural myself I have a different way of styling my own hair and also u have given me cheaper alternatives for helping my clients maintain their naps in between visits and it staying healthy AMAZED!!!!

  • When you were freaking out about how happy you were with your hair I was like "Yay! I'm not the only one that's easily excited!" You're adorable and I love your hair!

  • @TeAunaS00 "Reak stupid"? Hmmm. Something's not right with that.

  • @TeAunaS00 don't hate, or just keep yur opinions to yurself. :) k?

  • likes for this :) im confused . they say its good to deep condition your hair . i do that once every week . bt i use to do a protein treatment once a month bt i started seeing that the treatment wasnt making a big difference i want to replace the protein for a oil treatment once a month . should i do oil treatments sooner ?.. when do you deep condition & do oil treatments ?. thnxx :)

  • thanks for thisss :) . i tried doing egg treatments bt it seems that my hair isnt losing or gaining anything from it . soo i will try thiss :) ! do you do egg treatment as well ?. & alsoo , how many times do you do a hot oil treatment ?.

  • can u please forward me the name of the original song that was on this video?

  • cool

  • shrinkage is no joke!!

  • UGH I wish my hair would be natural already! lol I just started my transitioning last month..I have in micro box braids...

  • @leelow08 me too but they're not micros. remember from Poetic Justice when Janet Jackson had those thick braids? thats what i have, and i did it because i can easily see growth, its less time to take out, and micro braids do break your hair off... just looking out for another sister lol ;)

  • you are like the Ina Garten for natural hair...love your videos...simple ingredients yet very effective...i love the DIY.

  • You even look cute in your Miss Celey braids! I love what you do!

  • You are such a beautiful spirit!!! I love your vids, they truly inspire. Keep up the good work!!!!!!

  • What if you dont have a heating cap?

  • are you mixed???? cause you have really beautiful hair

  • @whiteboy1215644 I don't think a person has to be mixed in order to have nice hair. Just my opinion :)

  • @daniellexodrake Opinion? That's the truth.

  • @whiteboy1215644 So, you can't have beautiful hair without being mixed?

  • You do a good job at making sure you teach this step by step so that anyone can understand. Well done!

  • so if you dont recommend the hot and gold cap what do you recommend

  • does it prevent hairfall and thinning???

    m facing severe hairfall :(

  • @shivilrockyou have you tried emu oil?

  • @dramabitchespolitics well no....i've been using olive and almond oil...

  • my hair is at such an awkward stage right now in regards to length.im 13 months natural from completely shaved head lol. ugghhhhh i dont know what to do with it right now. i just want it to grow already.i do flat twists and single twists to style it but thats about it. i cant wait to be able to do a ponytail.any advice? :-)

  • do you was the hot oil treatment out ?

  • hahaha wen she screamed, i screamed as well hahaha i'm such a clown

  • how long did u keep your kinky twists in? I'm transitioning from relaxed to natural and I think kinky twists would be great transitioning style.

  • I luv your smile :)

  • I actually love it in the beginning, it was so cute

  • Do you do this on clean hair ?

  • lmao when i twist my hair its still big i use like 4-6 caps

  • Comment removed

  • OMG you have full, thick beautiful hair.

  • i love your hair like this! its so coily!

  • you know it's like taking care of YOU, not letting the corporate/establishment/mainstream dictate what's beautiful/good for you and then being your pusher of cream crack. Which goes along with you taking charge of your well-being naturally having good people/environment/thoughts/ideas, you take back the power for yourself.

  • B E A utiful

  • Is there a way to avoid shrinkage? Or train you hair to not shrink so intensely?

  • question....shampooing after applying the hot oil treatment....doesn't that kinda beat the purpose of doing the hot oil treatment since shampoo strips the hair of oils anyway?

ps...your hair is gorgeous your very pretty :)

  • I love your hair texture and how your twist outs looked.

  • youre super pretty

  • Thanks for this video. I'm wondering if I can use this treatment on my locs, but i'm not sure the oils will get trapped in them. Your puff at the end is very cute btw!

  • Did you wash the oil out after you let it sit in your hair for 30 mins??

  • @potterylady1 hence the SHAMPOO and conditioner

  • @musiclover1971 Wow long time ago that I posted that. I think I commented on this before I watched the whole thing. But things for all your help anyway. Cheers.
