If you watch the video, you dont nessecarily have to that much tape. You could only do one strip of tape for each one. It's just personal prefrence

no offence but i hate things like this. people make things all shiny becuase they are covered in tape, and call them origami. if it uses glue or tape, permanatly, then its not origami. this should be called "magic paper cube" or something along those lines. there is also a cooler on called yoshimoto cube

Okay, draw the NET of a cube. The net of a cube is made of six squares, each square (in this situation) being 3cm x 3cm. It consists of a row of FOUR squares, laying horizontal, with one coming of the left and right of the SECOND LAST square. Hope this helped.

Ah..that paper is actually card stock, i use it to make the cubes stronger. I bought a pile of it from a local craft store. (NSW, Hunter Valley)
