@Almanzzor The real moors came from yemen and they had Cushite as well as semitic Ancestory. They went in to north & west Africa and mixed heavily with the African populations that was there B4 they came to africa. Berbers are not African ppl. they are of west asian origin. The white arab is of north semitic & indo aryan origin and came later in Arabian history.. the real Arabians were very dark. Berbers came to Africa B4 the Arabs thats all. Berbers didn,t really like Arabs ..

This scene says nothing about ancient history, and everything about contemporary social attitudes towards rape, at least as they existed in the 1960s when this movie was made. Boys will be boys, right? And those women aren't really screaming in terror, they're just playing hard to get! No way in hell could this scene be filmed today - not even Mel Brooks could get away with it.

This movie was great, hell, it is still great! The only bad thing was no sequel to it, even though the ending leads you up to one.

Comic relief in the movie that leads you up to dire pain!!! It was well done. The best Viking movie ever!
