Actually both my cats are indoor cats and their more than content. If you let them outside they have a chance of getting hit by a car, attacked and eaten by wild animals, etc.
The fact your cats are outside cats is down to you. The majority of cat owners worldwide let their cats outside. Would you not let a dog out? The choice is down to the owner of the cats - My cat comes and goes as she likes, and always comes back. She also likes curling up on my bed.

Cats toying with birds or mice they find is cruel, they rarely eat them, they just kill them and play with them. I find that's a little cruel to be honest. Who's looking out for the birds??
Of course, you are absolutely right however.... Shoving some thin cardboard over a cats legs and then letting it walk over a nice soft bed and blanket is oh so cruel. It's not like he managed to flick one of them off with ease (if you actually watch the video).

Although I don't share your view, I do appreciate it as you actually make some good points as opposed to the usual negative drivel I have to read through.
You should know that this video was born from an idea an English comedian had (Jimmy Carr) on a fairly popular BBC show. I'd imagine that had a far larger chance of people imitating it from watching the show, than from my YouTube video (I'm one of those people afterall).

Sometimes animals get caught up in all sorts of litter left behind by people. By teaching Mog how to escape from litter, he is more street wise and the other cats in the street really dig him. What have you done for your cat lately??

Actually both my cats are indoor cats and their more than content. If you let them outside they have a chance of getting hit by a car, attacked and eaten by wild animals, etc.

The fact your cats are outside cats is down to you. The majority of cat owners worldwide let their cats outside. Would you not let a dog out? The choice is down to the owner of the cats - My cat comes and goes as she likes, and always comes back. She also likes curling up on my bed.
