It doesn't matter whether Shawn WANTED to job to Steve Austin, the fact is he did. And not only that, he wrestled the match with what was, effectively, a broken back. If anyone is looking to question Shawn Michaels toughness, than look at this match. Incredible.

@shevchenko0609 No it's not, he messed it up in a Casket Match with Taker..he was loading up on pain killers and drugs ever since. It was self destructive so he had to leave and drop the title to Austin. He didn't want to show up for the match and keep his title, not sure if it's true or not but they said Taker said some words to him like he better show up and job.

@BeNjAHBK While I agree he really was the guy who started the attitude era (Along with HHH, give him some credit), Stone Cold Also was the Attitude era, when people think of that era, they still think of Austin first, but much credit to DX, they really revolutionized wrestling in terms of showmanship... The days when Wrestling was fun to watch, you didn't know what to expect, then after about 2002-2003 RIGHT DOWN THE DRAIN, all was gone
