Damn this is so awesome! This helped me out so much, i've been trying to figure this out for so long and everything else is so expensive. I just ordered a 12v 7rpm motor on amazon, i'll just need to figure out how to slow it down. Thanks for sharing this
How do you like the Manfrotto 190XPROB tripod with Manfrotto 700RC2 video head? Im thinking of purchasing the combo, any thoughts would be appreciated! Im only considering this for video and smooth panning shots.
@Dimitry49 video head is great, only needed to do 1 adjustment in almost 1.5 years of having it, and the tripod is great, only thing is the bit where gives you the 90* thing is bulky, and unless you think you need that maybe opt for a cheaper/simpler manfrotto that doesn't feature that arrangement :)
I see you're using the double rail Drylin Rail..but whats width did you go for? 40mm or 80mm? and how long is that track? thinking about getting me one and want to try and figure out if i'd be wasting my time with a 40mm over a 80mm
hi style43,
Great video! How many pictures do you take before the camera moves another millimeter? I forgot to ask, where did you buy the 12v 2RPM motor?
