Baby Starlings (Fledglings)

I am waiting for someone to take care of my baby birds cause were going to the beach on June 10th and one is really small and the others are about 1 week old.

My friend found a baby starling, and its leg is broken. I'm not sure what to do. I feed it, and care for it. I feed it berries. What other kinds of foods do starlings eat?

@katenka92 with its leg broken it probably won't make it. Don't constantly feed it berries all the way. starlings eat insects, rainworms, flies, gnats, crickets (their soft "butts") and you can give them a few meal worms (MUST be dead, basically any insects so far)- don't overfeed mealworms, they're just meant to be an extra. also get mynah food/pearls and soak them until they're very soft. if you feed the wrong diet for too long they will die from stomach problems.

i love them. I tried to feed two starling chicks falling from nest and they died after 8 and 11 days. The last one died today because I did not feed them correctly. I feel sad all day. today is my brith day too.

Fantastic video! I love nature so much.If you come to Brazil you can see very birds , flowers and exotics animals.I loved the spring in London,specially the Rose´s Gardens in the parks.Here in Brazil when appear a baby bird in our house it´´s means a good luck! Thanks to teach many people around the world!!!
